(13) Whenever You're With Me, It's My Favorite Place To Be

Short time later the boys were back with our orders. "Yeay" I said excited as Jake handed me veggie burger. "Does that taste good?" Jake asked and I nod "To me it does" I told him, unwrapping it. "Can I taste it?" He asked and I nod "But not too much. Small bite" I told him. "Hey, I'm paying. I can just buy you another one if you are still hungry" He said and took a small bite. He didn't look so thrilled about it, but he swallowed it "How can you eat that?!" He asked, drinking from his coke to lose the taste in is mouth. I just laughed. "Eat your burger" Phoebe said and pushed the burger towards my mouth.

After we were done eating, Jake looked at me and I understood immediately what he thought "I'm gonna see you girls later" I said and the two of us got up. "Where are you going?" Phoebe asked a little scared. "To do something with Jake. He wanted to show me the city" I said and put on my jacket. "Reminds me, wasn't there this movie you wanted to watch?" Hanna asked Holbrook, who understood what Hanna meant. "Yeah, let's go!" He said and they got up as well. "I'll call you girls later, maybe" Hanna said and the two left. "And what are we supposed to do?" Phoebe asked. "I'm sure, you will think of something" I said and looked at Poppy.

"Mike, let's go for a walk" She said and got up as well. Mike got up confused, but followed Poppy outside, while Jake and I followed them. "What was that?" Mike asked confused. "We had that group date to loosen Phoebe and Jonah up. Now that they are calm, they can spend the rest of the date alone" I explained to him "You're cool with that, right?" I asked him and he nod "You were planning that from the start, haven't you?" Mike asked and I looked at Poppy "It was all her idea" I said and took Jake's hand "I'll see you later" I said and we walked off.

"What did you see already?" He asked. "Nothing, well the school but that's not really a place I want to go on a weekend" I told him. "Then I'll show you the other great things about London" He said and we walked to the next bus stop. "So where are you talking me?" I asked. "Some sights worth seeing" He said and we got onto the next bus that arrived. "Let's go upstairs. I don't think your busses look like that in America"

"Nope and they aren't red" I said and he took me upstairs. He made sure I got a window seat, so I could see. "I never realized how pretty London is. Must be awesome to live in a big city like this one" I said and looked at him. "It is, but you get to taste the big city life" He said and I smiled at him "But I'm still a small town girl and that's what I'm always gonna be" I told him "Not that it's bad, but... we have about two busses in the entire town, both driving out"

After ten minutes he grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs, where we got off the bus and then we walked. "Where are you taking me?" I asked him, but he refused to tell me. We kept walking until we reached...

The Buckingham Palace.

"Wow..." I said "I've never seen such a huge building or a palace/castle" I said, walking closer to the huge fence. "Come here" He said, put an arm around me and took a selfie of us in front of it. "This is amazing. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to live here?" I asked and he looked at me "You're a weird kid" Jake said and I laughed "Thanks" I told him and we started walking again. Jake put his arm around me while we walked down the street. "Your decision. Walk for 20 minutes or walk to the next bus stop and take the bus for 15?" He asked. "I rather walk" I told him.

We walked passed the park, him keeping his arm on my shoulder. "Come here" He said as me made a short break. "What?" I asked, facing him. He wrapped his arms around me, looking down and smiled. "What?" I asked giggling. "You have such a beautiful laugh" He said and I looked down. "Hey" He said and I looked up again.

Suddenly he leaned in and I could feel myself lean in as well. Just a short time later our lips collided. This might not be my first kiss, but the first real one that was with a special person. I could feel myself falling for Jake a little more every second. We deepened the kiss, before pulling apart. We smiled at each other and he kissed my forehead "We should keep going. There are three more places on our list" He said, let go of me, grabbed my hand and pulled me with him.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked and he nod "Sure!" "When was the first time you thought that I was someone you could fall for?" I asked him and he smiled at me "The day I met you" He answered. "The airport?" I asked him and he nod "Yes. Luckily you had one too many suitcase, so I had an excuse to talk to you"

I laughed "You're too cute" I said. He pulled me closer again, put his arm on my shoulder, around my neck and kissed my temple. "We're here" He said and I looked up "The Big Ben" I said and he nod "Yes, bigger than you thought?" He asked and I nod. "Gimme your phone" I said and he did as told. I then took a selfie of the two of us with the Big Ben in the background.  "I bet at the end of my trip, you are going to be in almost every photo I took" I said and he kissed my cheek again. Guess he was a kisser.

"Let's go" He said and lead me to the bridge near by and we crossed it. Just a few minutes later we were at the London Eye. "No" I said, looking at him "Are you scared of heights?" He asked and I shook my head no "No, but it's expensive and you already paid for dinner!" I said, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. He bought our tickets and without waiting in line, we were in the next capsules. "How did you do that?" I asked him confused. "Paid a little extra" He said and lead me to one of the windows. "You're crazy!" I told him.

"This view is crazy!" I told him, turning around to face him. "Can't complain about it" He said, looking at me. "Stop it please!" I said, turning back around to look outside. He hugged me from the back, looking over my shoulder.
