"This is crazy!" Keeley said as we entered the biggest hall Morrison Creek had to offer. "I know right!" Evie said exciting. "Oh come on, it's missing some gaming stuff!" Ronnie said. "I think there is something in the back" I said, pointing towards a tent. Without saying a word, Ronnie disappeared. "Okay then..." I said and looked at my half sister and cousin.

"I hope my parents will throw a party like that when I turn 16" Breena said as she walked towards us. "Hey, you're here early" I said and hugged her briefly.

Quick reminder, Breena is the daughter of Will and Monica and half sister of Evie and Ronnie.

"You look cool" I said and she laughed "Not here since a minute and already a comment about my necklace. Seriously?" She asked, her blond curls covering her shoulders. For her outfit,  she was wearing a black top and shorts, which are attached to each other and black overknees with heels. She looked so grown up for her age of 14.

"Happy birthday by the way" She said and briefly hugged me. "Thanks Bree" I said. "By the way, where is my second sister?" She asked, noticing that Ronnie wasn't there. "Where do you think she is?" Evie asked her. "Don't tell me here is a gaming booth" She said a little annoyed. "No" I said with a short break "A tent"

"Seriously?!" She asked. "I bet it was her idea" I said "Because I don't have anything to do with it!" I said, raising my arms in defense.

A few hours later I was dancing with Breena, since Evie had invited Cole and Keeley had invited Sean. "Hey, mind if I cut in" Miriam asked. "Go ahead" Breena said and walked off to get something to eat. "What's up?" I asked her. Before everything happened, about a year ago we were so close. We were almost best friends. First were always Evie and Ronnie, but then it was Miriam. Now Miriam's place was taken by Phoebe, just that Phoebe and I were better friends than Miriam and I have ever been. We grew apart I guess.

"How does it feel to be 16?" She asked. "Not a lot different than being 15" I answered her. "I wouldn't know" Miriam said and you could tell that we were being awkward with each other.

"Ehm Miri, would you excuse me for a second?" I asked and she nod. I hurried off to get to Alex "Hey, you're here" I said excited and hugged him. "Happy birthday" Alex said and hugged me back. "Thanks" I said and smiled at him "You look great!" He said, trying not to make it too awkward. "Thanks. I'm the result of Keeley and Evie with clothes and make up and I think hairspray as well" I said and laughed, which caused him to laugh as well. "Promise?" He asked and I looked up. He used that opportunity to kiss me. Our first kiss.

"Prom" A familiar voice behind me appeared and I became pale within seconds. I moved away from Alex and turned around.

Talk about an awkward situation.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked still in shock. "I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you and see if we maybe have a chance if I move to Morrison Creek" He said disappointed. "Jake" I said and let go of Alex.

I couldn't believe that my ex-boyfriend, my first real boyfriend, was standing in front of me in black jeans, some pair of boots, a bright blue shirt with a blue jeans jacket over it. "Jake.." Was all I got out. "There is a problem Promy!" My brother said, but I didn't really pay attention to him. He ended up pulling me with him and away from Jake.

"I seriously don't know if I should thank you or hate you" I said as we walked to the back and I sat down "The problem was made up, wasn't it?" I asked and he nod "I saw how uncomfortable you were and I wanted to help you" "Oh Cale" I said and hugged my little brother. "I'm supposed to look out for you and not the other way around" I said, resting my head on his shoulder. "Maybe you should forget about boys except for your brother's of course" He said and I sighed, but after a while I understood what he had just said. "Brother's?" I asked confused.
