(47) What Do I Do With A Boy Like You

BREENA'S PoV

"What are you up to?" Evie asked as she was leaning in the door frame of my room. "I have a date, believe it or not" I told her as I applied some lipgloss. "With who?" She asked curious. "None of your business! You don't have to know everything!" I said and walked over to my bed, grabbing my purse. "Where are you going on said date?" Evie continued asking me.

"None of your business as well!" I said and walked passed her. "Bye" I said, waved her and left the house, walking to Riverton, an ice café in town. The only place to get ice cream. It also had the best ice cream. I mean, yeah you can get ice cream in the grocery store, but the best one you can find at Riverton.

I walked to the entrance and waited for a while. I didn't want to go in without Peyton. I wasn't going to be one of those girls that tells the waiter she was still waiting for her date to show up. "Hey. Am I late?" He asked he walked towards me. "No, I was a little early. Had to escape the questioning of Evie. Didn't want to know what I was up to" I told him. He smiled "I didn't tell anyone either"

He grabbed my hand and we went inside. We went on to order a big ice cup that we wanted to share.

PROMISE'S PoV

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" I asked, laying on my bed, looking at my boyfriend, that was sitting on the chair at my desk. "For what?" He asked confused. "Dumping Lennon, duh" I said, showing him how obvious it actually was. "Nah, she gonna be pretty cool about it" He said, but I didn't believe him. "Oh yeah, what do you have planned?" I asked him. "Nothing, I was just gonna wing it" He said and my mouth dropped open. "Maybe I'm not even doing anything and just make sure she sees us together" He said.

"Are you going to dump me like that too?" I asked him upset. "I'm not planning on dumping you! Like ever!" He said and sat down on my bed. I sat up and looked at him "Are you?" I asked and he nod, then he came closer and pulled me closer to him. He then put his hand on the back of my head and pulled me closer to kiss me.

The next day arrived soon. I was sitting at the kitchen table, texting Evie and Ronnie, while waiting for Jesse to pick me up. "You look happy" Mom said confused. "Yeah, I actually am for the first time in forever" I said. "Is it a boy?" She asked and I couldn't help but smile. "Okay, spill" She said and I hesitated, but ended up telling her "Jesse Ashcroft"

She looked at me surprised. Guess she didn't expect that answer "The guy that bullied you just a year ago?" She asked and I nod "He did that because he was already in love with me. Then he changed strategies and started flirting with me non stop, but I first felt something for him, or accepted my feelings for him when he started dating Lennon" I told her.

"Lennon? As in your sister Lennon?" She asked and I nod. "He dated her to make me jealous. Isn't that cute?" I asked. "I seriously don't know what to say about that" She answered. Suddenly I heard a car and a short time later my phone beeped. I smiled when I looked at the display "It's Jesse. I gotta go. We continue the boy talk when I'm home from school" I said, kissed her cheek, which I never did before and hurried outside. I got onto the passenger seat and kissed him deeply "I missed you" I said.

"I missed you too" He said, then started the car. "My biggest dream comes true right now" He said. "What?" I asked confused. "Driving the love of my life to school" He said and I think I blushed a little.

Short time later we arrived at school. He got out and before I could open the door, he opened the door for me "Jesse Ashcroft, a gentleman?" I asked, while he helped me out of the car. "Of course" He said and closed the door for me. He took my hand, while I leaned against his car. "I know you want to kiss me" He said and I rolled my eyes "I know I do" I said and he leaned in and kissed me. "Wanna get inside?" He asked and I giggled "I don't know. You make it hard for me" I said and kissed him briefly. "Let's go babe" He said and pulled me with him.

I loved the sound of him calling me babe. I smiled at him and followed him inside. Not many people paid attention to us at first. Guess they either didn't care or they expected that it would happen soon. We walked through the hallway until we reached my locker. "So, you have to let go of me now" I said, but he didn't want to. He kissed me briefly, then let me open my locker, but he didn't walk away. He stayed right next to me, while I got my books out of the locker. Once I closed the locker, Jesse grabbed them from me.

"Are you seriously going to carry my books?" I asked. "Definitely. I'm a gentleman, haven't you heard?" He asked and grabbed my hand again. We walked through the school until I did spot Lennon and Cindra. Cindra looked over to us, then tapped Lennon's shoulder so she turned around. Jesse noticed that and turned to me and kissed me. While Lennon was watching.

We pulled apart and he looked at Lennon and shrugged, before walking off with me.

Later in my event planning class Cindra confronted me "What the hell was that with Jesse earlier?!" She asked pissed. "We're dating. I'm sorry that he cheated on Lennon, but I couldn't hold back my feelings any longer" I told her, apologizing as well. I really did feel a little bad. After all Lennon was my sister and she had real feelings for Jesse.

"Thank you" She suddenly said and I looked at her confused. "What? Why? I thought you were pissed" I said. "I'm not the biggest fan of Jesse. Lennon was only talking about him and I was starting to hate her for it" She said.

I was actually surprised that she wasn't mad that I stole her best friend's boyfriend.
