(64) Wiser From The Mess I Made

It's me guys, Fray or how other people know me, Promise Clarissa Copeland. Daughter of Olivia Harding (neé Copeland) and Ryder Harding. Sister of Brandon Fitzgerald, Evie Baker, Veronica Baker, Lars Harper, Cindra Hunter, Lennon Germaine and Caleb Harding and soon to be sister of Charlee Harding.

I told you from the beginning that my life was different and I was right, but this post is not about my life. It's about my senior year and about how crazy it actually was.

The craziness began at the beginning of my senior year, when my then boyfriend Jesse Ashcroft proposed to me after six months of dating. I didn't care that it wasn't that long and after all I did say yes and at this point I even said 'I do'  a few months back. So techically I'm now Promise Clarissa Ashcroft and I'm proud to have that name, because it reminds me of the adventures I had with Jesse, the love of my life.

During senior year I got more and more into the media club and shooting videos. Jefferson's 19 wasn't just a club. It was family. Jesse got into photography more and more each day. He took the best pictures of me, no matter if I wanted it or not.

We did so much in senior year. I might have started it being 16 and turned 17 at the beginning, but that didn't stop Jesse and I from having one adventure after another.  From our engagment when I was 17 to our weekend in California at Coachella.

To the other crazy things I will get to in a minute. But first I think you want to know what happened with my friends and family.

Evie first. She graduated from NYU and then went to a fashion school together with Asher, who had successfully graduated Berklee College of Music together with Austin. Although Evie and Asher never really knew each other, they have become great friends, while Ronnie was a little jealous.

Ronnie, well she majored in video game design and lives now in Portland together a guy from her graduating class that she saw as a friend first, but we can all see that they like each other. They are now working at the same company.

Phoebe and Poppy graduated from the University of London and so did Hanna, Jonah and Jake. I don't really talk to Jake or Hanna anymore, but we are still friendly and after all they were at my wedding. Mike and Poppy are still going strong, also Mike wants to follow his parent's footsteps and got a job in film. His father is a director, his mother an actress and he chose the writing path.

Miriam graduated MIT on top of her class and works there now as a professor. It's kinda weird to think that my cousin is smart like that. Zac on the other hand tried to get into MIT for another two years, while he attended MCU. I'm not talking to him anymore. None of us is actually.

Keeley went to UCLA and graduated from there. She decided to follow a career in gymnastics and won a few competitions. She and Sean have been married for about a year now.

Lennon has succeeded in staying nice and went to Stanford. She and Austin have been going strong ever since they started dating before graduation. What exactly she has planned with her future I don't know. I think she said something about leading a business.

Jesse and I spent a lot of our breaks traveling. One place was New York. We went to visit Evie, Ronnie and Devon. I was totally happy that Evie and Devon were still in love like they were on day one.

Fast forward to our wedding. It was the most beautiful day in my life.

I might have been only 17 when I said 'I do' but it was the most sure I have ever been. I knew that Jesse was the right guy as soon as I got together with him. We had such a long way to go, so we are glad that we finally made the biggest step. Next one is the birth of our first child together.

We are still talking about names and all. We also don't know the gender yet, but I know that I am more than ready to have a family. I might be at the beginning of twenty, but my family is known to do crazy things in their youth.

My parents had me at 17, I got married at 17 and I can't wait to see what my kids do at 17. I'm pretty sure they can't get crazier than I did.

This is the end of Promise's journey and the fifth book will focus on Prom and Jesse's teen daughters. It's going to be called Young Blood or Evermore, can't decided...

Also I want to know which couple your prefer Ryder and Olivia or Jesse and Promise. Although I really love Ashland, I think nothing can top Rylivia. They are still my OTP of the My New Family series.
