"We're Sophomores" I said and looked at Keeley. "Yeah, only two years left" She said. "Well, being a Sophomore isn't as exciting as you think it is" Evie said. "Good luck" Ronnie said, before the two of them disappeared. "Okay, so what's your first class?" I asked her. "P.E." She said "With Dashcoff. You?" "P.E. with uncle Matt" I told her. "You mean Dashcoff?" She asked and I nod "His sister Meena is married to my uncle Luke. Logan's parents" I told her and she nod slowly. I guess she had to get used to me being related to half of the town.
So we were sitting in P.E. not even ten minutes later. "Welcome to Sophomore P.E." Matt or Mr. Dashcoff said. Miriam, Henry, Logan, Alden, Cole, Jesse, Keeley, I, Jaden and some other students had a hard time to concentrate on what he was saying. "But we also got a whole new face in our little group" He said and turned around "Why don't you introduce yourself" He said and the girl appeared from behind him. I couldn't believe my eyes "You're seeing a blonde too?" I asked Keeley just to be sure and she confirmed it.
"Hey, I'm from England and I'm an exchange student for the entire year" She said. "And your name?" Dashcoff asked, but before she could answer I jumped up and yelled "PHOEBE" and went to hug her. "What the hell are you doing here without tell me?!" I asked her upset, hugging her tight. "I'm here to surprise you of course!" She said and hugged me back. "I can't believe you are actually here!" I said and let go of her "But what about Jonah? Long distance ruined my relationship with Jake" I told her, worrying a little. "Then maybe it was a good idea to come here with him" She said and my mouth dropped open.
"He's here?!" I asked and she nod. I squealed and went to hug her again. "Copeland, could you wrap this up, so I could start with my lesson?" Dashcoff asked and I let go off Phoebe again. "Sorry M..ister Dashcoff" I said and pulled Phoebe with me and made her sit down next to me.
"Okay, we are going to start with running a few laps. Go!" He said and all of us got up and started running, some faster than others. Keeley, Phoebe and I were in the middle. "So, Phoebe, this is Keeley. She has been my best friend ever since I came back here. She currently lives with me as well, since she and her parents aren't getting along so well" I told her. "Keeley, this is Phoebe. My best friend from London. I'm the reason she is finally dating the boy she liked since forever and that she has a little courage" I said. "Hey, I had enough courage to leave London to come here! I think I'm doing a little more than just a little courage!"
"Hey, why are you so slow Keeley? I thought you can run fast than this?" I asked her. "I can, but then I would be alone and I rather be with you guys, than on my own" She said and I think Phoebe was a little confused "Keeley is a gymnast" I explained. "I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I'm a retired dancer, ballet" Phoebe said. "No, I don't think you mentioned that" I said "Does that make me the only one that has never done a sport like really?" I asked and they nod laughing. "I'm gonna start gymnastics then" I said "Today!" "Good luck with that Copeland" Matt said and I looked to face him.
"Shouldn't you encourage me as my uncle?" I asked him, crossing my arms. "I should, but as your teacher I have to say, keep dreaming" He said. "I don't think that's something a teacher would say" I told him. "But an uncle" He said. "Technically you aren't even my uncle" I reminded him. "Get back to your laps Promise" He said, not wanting to fight. "I'm done with them and so is even the girl that never does sports, also known as Jaden" I told him.
"I heard that!" Jaden yelled, sitting down on the bleachers, trying to catch her breath.
"Come on, you know it's true!" I yelled. She only groaned. "Don't take it personal Jade. She isn't the same since England" Jesse said and Jaden looked at him "It's Jaden!" "Sorry Miss Supersensitive" He said and put an arm around me "Haven't you heard? We're buds now" He said to the confused crowd around us. "Aren't you deeply in love with her?" Phoebe asked. "Doesn't mean I can't be her friend" He said and I laughed "Isn't he adorable?" I asked and ruffled his hair like I always did with my brother. "Somehow I missed seeing Jesse whenever I looked out the window" I said.
