After I had gotten my luggage, which had grown over the past three months and had put it onto a cart and pushed it to the exit. Just before I walked through it, I stopped to take a deep breath. Going through that exit was the hardest thing and I couldn't do it. I was too scared.
After a while I realized that I was the only one that hasn't gone through yet. I took a deep breath, looked at my lock screen photo, which was still Jake and I. I took a deep breath before walking through the exit. As soon as I saw my parents and Caleb, but fear was gone. I pushed the cart faster and stopped it in front of them and went to hug them.
"I missed you two" I said and I did mean it. Maybe not as much as they think I did, but I didn't want to hurt their feelings. "We missed you too!" Mom said and let go of me. I went on to hug dad, before I turned to my brother "Hey little guy" I said and ruffled his hair "Stop that!" He said and I laughed, then pulled him closer and hugged him. "I missed you too Cale" I said and let go of him. "Prom" Henry said and hugged me. "Henry" I said and hugged him back. "I really missed you! I didn't know what to do while you were gone" He said and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Is it just me or did you get an English accent?" Henry asked. "I think I got a small accent. Not that much, still pretty much American" I laughed and left go of him. "What's gonna happen now?" He asked and I shrugged "I don't know" I said. When I noticed that Ronnie and Evie weren't there, I was a little sad, but what did I expect? I didn't talk to them in three months. I never answered their calls.
By now it was evening and I was in my pjyama, sitting on my bed, my laptop in front of me. It was about 10 PM, meaning it was about 6 AM in London. I was skyping with Jake. "So, how is being home?" He asked and I sighed "I don't know. It's weird" I told him, laying down. "So this is your famous bed" He said and I laughed "I hate you" I said, not taking my eyes of the display. "No, you don't!" He said and I sighed "You're right. I can't hate you. Your face is too loveable" I said and he laughed. "Did you really wake up that early just to talk to me?" I asked him and he blushed a little "You're worth it" He said and I smiled to the ground.
"Hey Prom, lights out" My mom said, leaning against the door frame "You should be really tired" "I am actually, but I don't wanna say goodbye yet" I said and waved to tell her to come over. "Mom, this is Jake. My boyfriend. Jake, this is my mom" I introduced them. "Hi Mrs. H" He said. "Just call me Olivia" Mom said and I smiled at her. "You go to London for three months and manage to return with a boyfriend. I would have never been able to do that" She said. "Mom, TMI" I said.
"Just saying. In my entire life I had two boyfriends" She said and I wasn't sure if I wanted to hear that. "I know. Dad and Uncle Fabian, who you haven't talked to in years" I said. "I know, but get to bed Sweetheart" She said and kissed the top of my head, before leaving my room. "I think I should go to bed" I said. "Yeah, I love you" He said. "I love you too" I said and ended the video chat.
I closed my laptop and put it down on my nightstand and closed my eyes. I fell asleep pretty fast. The next day, I woke up around 9 AM and went downstairs to get some food. I sat down at the table and started eating. "How you called Evie and Ronnie yet?" Mom asked, sitting down with her breakfast next to me. "No, do they know now?" I asked she started feeling uncomfortable. "So they don't. Nothing much has changed. Everything is still the same, just not me" I said, got up and went back to my room and changed.
I quickly did my hair and make up. My eyes fell onto the window and remembered that Jesse was always there, but not anymore. I sighed, before pulling on my shoes and grabbed my phone, stuffed it into my back pocket. I then grabbed my jacket and hurried down the stairs and went to the park. Usually I met the boys there, but today it was empty.
I ended up calling Phoebe. "Hey, what's up?" She asked and I had a small smile on my lips "It's weird being back" I said. "I believe you. But how are you feeling?" "Not good! Nothing has changed, except for me. My sisters still don't know!" I told her. "They had three months and still haven't told them?!" She asked upset and I nod "Yes. Evie and Ronnie have a right to know that they aren't just my step-cousins, that they are my sisters too!" I almost yelled.
"We're what?" I heard Evie's voice and turned around "Oh my god" I said, keeping the phone on my ears. "Prom?" Phoebe asked. "Imma call you back" I said and hung up. "What are you talking about?" Ronnie asked confused. "I..." I said, not knowing what to say. "Guys-" I started another try, but the words were gone once again.
"Promise, what the hell are you talking about?" Evie asked, not letting go of what they had just heard. "Talk now!" Ronnie said. "How can we be your sisters?" Evie asked, not really believing it, but- believing it. "I'll explain everything. Just sit down and I will talk" I said and they looked at each other, before sitting down. I sat down with them.
