(45) I Have Been Up All Night

By now Jesse and I were laying in my bed, without Lindy, without shoes on and Jesse's jacket was laying on the floor as well. No, we didn't sleep with each other, we were just laying there, me in his arms. "As much as I love you, I think we should keep us a secret" I said and turned around so I was laying on my stomach. "Why?" He asked confused, playing with my long hair. "Because technically you still have a girlfriend! And I... have a boyfriend" I told him. "Who dared to date my girl?!" He asked. "A lot of guys!" I told him. "Haha! I'm serious!" He said. "Peyton" I said and his mouth dropped open "Another one of my friends!?" He asked.

"I'm sorry!" I said and laid my head down, cuddling into his chest. "I'm 16 and had I don't know how many boyfriends" I said, laughing "I think I'm worse than my dad" "How many relationships did your dad have?" He asked. "Not many, he rather slept with them and then took of. I actually dated those guys" I said. "I don't care how many you date! As long as I'm your last and the one you don't cheat on" He said and I giggled "I don't like that word! Cheat. It sounds so bad" I said and he just laughed.

So, Jesse and I have been dating for since about a week now. Now it was weekend and Evie invited all of us over to a sleepover. Of course she didn't know that I was dating Peyton for a about a day and have been with Jesse for a week.

So there we were. Alden, Alex, Cole, Devon, Evie, Henry, Jesse, Keeley, Lars, Logan, Peyton, Phoebe, Ronnie and I sitting in a circle. "Take one each" Evie said and put some red cups in the middle. Each of us took one and she filled them with some alcohol Devon had brought. He had stolen them from his father.

"What's the plan?" Keeley asked. "We're playing Never Have I Ever!" Evie said and half of us groaned. "Let's just start and see how it goes!" She said "I start!" She quickly added. "Never Have I Ever run away with a boy/girl" She said. "Hell yeah" I said and took a sip "Paris was amazing!" Then Devon took his cup and drank a sip "They day we met sweetheart" He said and smiled at his girlfriend aka Evie. "Awe" She replied and kissed him.

"Never Have I Ever had a crush on anyone in this room" Phoebe said. Alden, Alex, Cole, Evie, Ronnie, Jesse, Lars, Peyton and I all drank something. "Cheers to that" Jesse said before taking his sip "I don't regret that crush for a second" He said, smiling at me. "Never Have I Ever had a crush on Promise Copeland" Keeley said and I looked at her with a straight face. Alden, Alex, Jesse, Lars and Peyton drank "Sadly but true" Lars said and drank.

"Never have I ever been in a romantic relationship with one of the people in this room" Henry said. Cole and Ronnie immediately drank, followed by Evie and Devon. Alex drank as well. "Were we ever in a real relationship?" Alden asked, while Lars took a sip. "I actually don't know. I'd say it was more of a Christmas fling" I told him, taking a sip right after. "That's not a thing" Alden said. "Then it was a fling, but we never dated" I told him. "Cool" He said and put his cup back down. Peyton hesitated for a second, but then drank.

"Who did you date?" Evie immediately asked. "Promise" Peyton said a little mad "For one day, before she dumped me without telling me why!"

I looked at Jesse, who was hesitating as well. I carefully nod and he took a sip as well. "I think I know why" Ronnie said and looked from Jesse to me and back to Jesse. "Yes, fine..." I gave in "Jesse and I are dating" I said. "My girl finally agreed to date me" He said and pulled me over and into his lap. "Okay, I'm a little tipsy" I said giggling and rested my head against his shoulder.

"Wow... have been dumped for one of my friends..." Peyton said. "Buddy, she was always gonna end up with me!" Jesse said and I laughed. "Does Lennon know?" Evie asked, drinking her beverage. "Not yet. She wasn't at school all week and I found it mean to just dump her via text or Cindra" He said. "Yeah, that would have been mean, babe" I said and kissed his cheek.

We decided to stop playing and just talk or at least try to, while getting drunk. Keeley started whining that Sean wasn't there, since he had to work. After a while many of them were already asleep, but not Jesse and I. We were playing with each other's hands. "You have no idea since when I have been in love with you Promy" He said and I laughed "Do I wanna know for how long I have been in love with you?" I asked and he nod "Not as long as you have been in love with me" I said and ran my hand through his hair, which was longer than how it was a while ago. I think he chose to grow it out for a while "One day I'm gonna braid your hair" I said and he laughed "You're not going to do that!" He said.

"I'll do it when you are asleep and you can't stop me" I said and he just laughed. He didn't believe me. He didn't believe that I had the courage to actually do it, but I did. And that's what I did as soon as he was asleep. He was cuddling with a pillow while I was braiding his hair. I could not wait to see his reaction when we wake up. I laid down beside him and closed my eyes. I was asleep pretty fast.
