"I don't know how I should feel.. I just broke up with three guys, while I was officially seeing one of them. That's so messed up and I don't know what to think" I said, laying in my bed while cuddling with Lindy. "I don't get why everyone is crazy about boys! They aren't that great!" Evie said, sitting on Keeley's bed. "You are just saying that because Cole chose Veronica, aren't you?" I asked. "Of course I'm saying it because of that. I mean, I met him first and I really liked him, but on the other side I'm happy for my sister. She finally found a guy that likes her for her boyish behavior. I probably had no idea how to date a gamer" She said and sighed "Maybe that's why he chose Ronnie over me. They have more things in common"
"Well, that was the reason I broke up with Alex. We didn't have anything in common besides basketball and that's not enough for a relationship" I told her. "I hate video games. You have no idea how much I hate them, but my sister loves them and so does Cole. God, why did I even crush on this guy!? He is my sister, no wonder they get along so well. He basically is the male version of her!" Evie went on.
"Evie! Forget about Cole!" I told her, because I was getting annoyed by her rambling on about that guy. "Okay, you know what? We're going out! Single lady night!" Evie said and I sat up "And where do you want to go?" I asked her. "We got fake ID's, why not use them?" She asked with smirk "Because everyone in Morrison Creek knows me" I told her. "Then we'll go to Bensburg. No one knows you there" She said and then I finally agreed. Bensburg might be 45 minutes away, but it was worth it, if it meant I would get over the guys I lost completely.
We then started to get ready, each of us doing their own hair and make up, but both of us decided to go for something black. While Evie decided to wear a tight black dress and black heels, I went with a black top that showed my belly and a black leather jacket over it. My black jeans were tight as well and I was wearing the same black heels Evie was wearing. Both of our hair was a little curly, more like some little waves. We both kept our make up natural, just that I used some eyeliner.
After we were done, we grabbed our stuff, checked if our fake ID's were there and walked downstairs. I wrote a quick note to my parents that I was out with Evie, before we went to my car and were on our way to Bensburg. It was afternoon when we arrived.
"Hey, how about we grab something to eat before we party it up?" Evie asked and I nod. I was starving. So we wented up going to a fast food place and had our lunch, before it was time to hit the club. We got in pretty easily. Guess our ID's were better than we thought. We danced with each other for a while, laughing almost the entire time until a cute guy walked over.
"Hey, can I buy you a drink?" He asked and I looked at Evie. "I think he meant you!" She said and I looked at the guy, who rubbed the back of his neck, while looking at me. "Which one did you mean?" I asked him. "You" He said and I think I blushed a little. "See you later sis" She whispered into my ear and walked off. "Can I?" He repeated his question and I nod.
I know what you are thinking! My family is totally against alcohol because of my late grandfather. I never met him though, so I'm not exactly mad at that stuff, but I would never tell my parents that. They would kill me if they knew. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I also don't absolutely hate it.
The guy lead me to the bar, were we sat down and he ordered his favorite drink twice. He had asked me what I want, but I told him to surprise me, since I don't know anything about that stuff. He then handed me the drink and I took a sip. It burned a little and I was trying to hide my coughing, but he had noticed it. "You don't drink that often, do you?" He asked laughing and I nod "Barely" I told him. "David by the way" He introduced himself "Mia" I said the name that was written on my fake ID.
"Can I have another? It's pretty good!" I asked and he was happy to buy me another and another. After I had four drinks, we went onto the dance floor. We danced and danced, not taking our eyes of each other.
EVIE'S POV
After I had left Prom, I went on to dance with a few guys, but non was really worth remembering. That was until I saw him. Tall, dark hair and blue eyes, ready to melt my heart. It didn't take me long to walk over to him "Hey, the name is Liz" I said, using my fake ID name. "Mick" He answered, then went on to check me out "Wow, you're hot!" He said and I smiled "Right back at ya" I said "Dance?" I asked he grabbed my hand and dragged me onto the dance floor.
After about three or four songs we went to the bar, where he bought me some drinks. I insited on paying for my own, but Mick wouldn't let me. I lost count on how many I had and not a long time we were back on the dance floor, making out with each other. Cole was the last thing on my mind.
PROMISE' POV
David and I were still dancing, when I suddenly crashed my lips onto his. It must have been the alcohol, since I swore to myself to stay away from boys for a while. I know I had done that before, then went on to break up with three guys, but this time was different.
"Hey, wanna come to my place?" He asked and the next thing I knew was me nodding yes. He grabbed my hand and lead me out the club, while I totally forgot I had come here with Evie.
Twenty minutes later we were in an small apartment, which looked different than I had expected. It didn't look like a bachelor cave. Not at all. "Don't be too loud, I don't want you to wake her up" David said and I looked at him confused "Who?" "My daughter" He said and my eyes widen. Was he married?! In a serious relationship?! Was I one of his many affairs!?
"Before you think bad about this, it's not what you think" He said, leading me to his bed room. "My wife died a few months ago, after we adopted our baby girl. I fought hard, but was allowed to keep her. My younger sister had moved in to help me with her and once a week she takes care of Dani, so I can get out of here" He explained and sat down on his bed. "I'm so sorry for your loss" I said, standing in front of him. "Don't worry about it!" He said and pulled me closer and kissed me.
I sat down on his lap and we continued the make out session. He slowly went to take of my leather jacket, throwing it to the ground. After that I did the same with his jacket. He then laid back, so I was sitting on top of him as we continued.
EVIE'S POV
After way too many drinks, Mick had taken me home with him. I could barely move. I barely noticed how Mick had laid me down in his bed and started kissing me aggressively. "Stop!" I told him over and over again as he started to undress me. "STOP!" I yelled with all the power I had left inside of me, then I passed out.
