Chapter 49 : A Test of Friendships

Mark’s POV

“Lad, is she alright?” tanong sa akin ni Patrick.

“Yeah, she's too scared that’s why she painted that’s what her doctor told me” malungkot na pahayag ko.

“I was too scared when that girl try to hurt her again. She will pay for this” galit na sabi ni Patrick.

“You really do love her, don’t you?” tanong ko sa kanya. Makikita naman kung paano nito protektahan si Andrea. Siya ang unang nakakuha kanina kay Andrea saka niya ibinigay sa akin para itago at hinarang niya ang katawan niya for her.

“Yeah. I really do love her. I will do everything just to make her happy and to protect her not to get hurt” punung puno ng pagmamahal na pahayag nito habang nakatunghay sa mukha ni Andrea.

“Can I ask a favor, lad?” malungkot na tanong ko sa kanya habang nakatunghay din ako sa mukha ni Andrea.

“What is it?” nagtatakang tanong niya sa akin. 

“Please love her and make her happy always”

“What do you mean?”

“As long as I am around her, she will never be free from troubles. So I decided to leave her. I will just around but I will not show myself on her” malungkot kong pahayag sa kanya.

“You don’t need to do that lad, she love you so much. She will just get hurt if you will leave her. Kahit na alam ko na mahal ko siya hindi ko gagamitin iyon just to get her. You are the only one person who can make her happy, so please, don’t leave her” pagsusumamo nito. The love he have for Andrea is one of a kind. Kaya he’s the one who deserves Andrea’s love.

“But I’m so afraid na baka mangyari na naman ito sa kanya. Hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko if that happen” kasabay nang pagbitaw ko sa mga salitang iyon ang pag-uunahan ng aking mga luha sa pagbagsak. Nalulungkot ako dahil sa pangalawang pagkakataon dalawa na silang nakaadmit sa hospital na ito and it’s all because of me. Nilapitan ako ni Patrick at saka ako tinapik sa balikat.

“ I know what had happen this past few days is just a test of time. Take everything as a blessings to test how much you will keep your promises to our dear Andrea. So cheer up man stop blaming yourself” pagpapayo nito sa akin.

“Thanks a lot Patrick. I think that’s the reason why Andrea could not resist you. You’re so kind, I promise I will not get jealous to all of you”

“You should do that. Just remember that no matter who will pass by her she will remain loyal to you. She loves you so much and no one could ever replace you in her heart” nakangiting pahayag ni Patrick.

“Thanks lad, anyway. I’ll go outside first to buy some fruits. Don’t leave her please” pagbibilin ko kay Patrick saka na ako umalis.

Mike’s  POV

 Ano ba naman itong nangyayaring ito? Pagkatapos ni Andrea si Ken naman. Kailangan na talaga naming umuwi ng Pilipinas para maiwasan na ang baliw na babaeng iyon. She’s too desperate na makuha si Mark. Nakita ko kung gaano nito pinanggigilang mapatay si Andrea buti nalang agad nahila ni Patrick si Andrea at naibigay kay Mark kundi baka nadali na naman ito.

“Bro, where are you going? Kumusta si bestfriend Andy?” tanong ko kay Mark.

“She’s still asleep, bro. I will just go outside to buy her fruits. Patrick is there waiting for her to wake up” sagot nito sa tanong ko
