Jaden and Syrus spent several days happily duelling one another. Their strategies pulled out more and more surprises and their old strategies from Duel Academy were sprung upon at the least likely times. They watched more Duel tournaments and even duelled with the other's deck to see how they are with new strategies, but mutually agreed they preferred their own cards.

After their second week together began, Jaden was using the Internet to look at the changes to Duel Academy. He saw many refits to the classrooms, including extensions for new classes and also new staff. Replacing Professor Stein was Professor King. And the new Head of Obelisk Blue was a Professor Rhodes. Jaden's eyes fixed on this. He also learnt that Dr Crowler was feeling confident at becoming the new Chancellor, as Professor Sheppard was considering retiring.

Syrus was interested in the progress of Slifer Reds, whom were more respected as the duelist whose skills rivalled even that of the King of Games wore red himself. They were most inspired by Jaden and Syrus himself, and they were being just as skilled as Obelisk Blues.

Both friends were proud they had inspired the duelists to do their best, one in particular was very highly skilled before he left Duel Academy, claimed to be the most powerful since Jaden and Zane; Zorath Newman. He had black hair and his Slifer Red uniform was mixed with black instead of white, and he had a prideful look on his face, almost challenging.

"Reminds me of Chazz!" laughed Syrus.

They laughed heartily and made jokes and comparisons of Chazz and Zorath Newman, when Syrus received an e-mail.

"Hey, it's from Chazz." he said to Jaden.

Jaden went over and together they read it.

Hey, Truesdale,

I heard Jaden Yuki is staying with you for a time. Well, I'm not busy tomorrow, so I wish to meet you at your house in Domino City and challenge Jaden to a rematch. If you concede, say so in a reply. Get your deck ready, Jaden, cos I certainly have.

Chazz Princeton

"A rematch?" said Syrus, surprised.

Jaden was surprised too, and very excited. "I wanted a rematch with Chazz since the reunion!" he cried, "I can't wait for this! I need to prepare my deck!"

Syrus smiled as he watched Jaden get to work. Other than duelling, preparing his cards was just about the only work he had ever seen Jaden do.

Jaden worked through his beloved Elemental heroes, his treasured Neo-Spacians and his clever Spells and Traps, ready for the challenge ahead of him. He couldn't wait to use his deck against Chazz's improved Pro League deck...but he didn't know that the deck was not going to be the same as he had seen on television.

Chazz Princeton arrived in Domino City the following morning. Under Nightshroud's persuasive compulsion, he had made drastic changes to his deck.

He made his way over to the Truesdale residence and knocked curtly on the door.

Jaden opened it and practically pulled Chazz through the door.

"Come on, Chazz! Let's have a preparatory lunch before our rematch!" he shouted excitedly.

"No, Jaden. My schedule's tight!" said Chazz boisterously.

"OOH!" teased Jaden.

"I can heat it up afterwards." called Syrus as he ran up, "Besides, I want to see this duel as much as either of you do."

Jaden agreed. And he and Chazz prepared their decks and Duel Disks.

In the biggest room of the house, Jaden and Chazz stood in a face off, prepared to duel at long last.
