The group of friends had spread themselves across the whole estate of Duel Academy to protect it with their Duel Disks and decks should Nightshroud or Trueman return.

Damon was in the forests, searching everywhere for anyone or anything unusual. Alexis had woken young Belowski and he surveyed and took charge in guarding the roof of the Academy looking over the view to search for any intruders. He was very vigilant after hearing that Dr Crowler was defeated and outcast into the World of Darkness.

Alexis had asked Jasmine and Mindy to stand guard over the Abandoned Dorm. They agreed so long as they did not have to enter the area. Both ladies were quite terrified even now of the area.

We'll be okay, right?" asked Jasmine.

S-sure." replied Mindy in a stutter.

Jasmine was not too reassured as Mindy's response sounded more like a question to herself than a word of encouragement. Atticus however had encouraged both of them with kisses on each hand like a valiant gentleman, but he also warned them to not go into the Abandoned Dorm under any circumstances.

Now that everyone else had arrived, Alexis left Jaden, and she, Atticus, Yusuke and Honest took over from Miss Fontaine to guard the Obelisk Blue Dorm whilst she returned to the nursing rooms to watch over ailing students.

Syrus and Hassleberry watched with Jaden on all sides of the Academy's main building, encircling it slowly and surveying the areas with care and caution.

Axel and Jesse were guarding the Slifer Red Dorm, and Professor Sartyr guarded the Ra Yellow Dorm. Miss Dorothy returned to her card shop and cooking for the staff, guards and students.

Jaden was wishing that Chazz and Blair were there too, but there was nothing more to be done but to hope for the best. But even after an hour had passed, no-one had seemed to notice the mysterious object in the sky. The object was travelling to Earth from clearly somewhere far away and although no-one had noticed it, there was no doubt that it was heading their way...

Meanwhile, Chancellor Sheppard was at the Duelist Kingdom. He had been greeted respectfully by Maximillion Pegasus' bodyguards and was escorted into the castle itself.

Sheppard was asked to take a seat in one rather comfortable guest room.

Pegasus and his revived wife, Cecilia were drinking fruit juice and Pegasus was showing off his art skills by painting his wife's favourite card, Mystical Elf. Cecilia felt that the Elf was a divine creature who used her good magic to give hope to others.

As the happily married couple laughed together, Croquet entered.

"A thousand pardons, sir and ma'am." he said, "But there is a visitor here, sir. A Chancellor Sheppard. He says it a matter of urgent emergency."

Pegasus sighed. Although he had more compassion and care for others since his wife's return, he was rather enjoying his time with her.

"Go on, Maximillion." smiled Cecila, rubbing his painter's arm, "I promise I won't be going anywhere."

So Pegasus smiled, kissed his wife lovingly and turned away and followed Croquet to the guest room where Sheppard was passing the time, admiring the many portraits across the room. They were of the champion duelists around the world that had gained Pegasus' admiration, interest and respect.

"My dear Chancellor Sheppard," greeted Pegasus cheerfully as he approached and shook his visitor warmly by the hand, "to what do I owe this pleasure of a visitation?"
