Five hours. I was in labor for five hours before our baby girl was finally welcomed into the world. She was a tiny baby. Born a month early and could lay in both of my hands.

Simon had been by my side the entire time. The others waited out in the hallway. As soon as she was born, she was pulled away because they were so worried for her health. They told us it would be a while before we would be able to see her. Simon comforted me and told me to sleep and so I did.

I opened my eyes and saw Simon leaning on the side of a glass box. There was an open, circular shaped door that was on the side of the container. His hand was placed delicately through the opening. The look on his face was precious: amazement, awe, bewildered, and absolute happiness.

I moved my arm and noticed the several IV's stuck in my arm. I had an oxygen tube hooked over my ears and looped under my nose, giving me fresh air. My head was buzzing from all of the pain medicines I had been given earlier on. I reached my hand out and lightly brushed Simon's leg with my fingertips. He snapped from his daze and smiled at me.

"Hey momma Lucky," he said softly and placed his hand that wasn't in the box on my hand.

"Hey daddy Minter," I said in a hoarse voice. "Have the others been in to see her yet?" I asked.

"No. I told them that mommy gets to see her before anyone else does," he said with a wide smile. He pulled the cart with the glass box beside my head and watched with excitement. I looked in and saw the tiny, tiny human. She was so beautiful. My head snapped towards the door as someone knocked.

"Come in," Simon called from his seat beside me and Riley. A nurse with short black hair and a kind face entered and closed the door promptly behind her.

"I came to make sure that the both of your oxygen tanks weren't close to empty," she said as she walked over to the machines. I turned my attention back to the little girl, my little girl, our little girl. The nurse watched me.

"Would you like to hold her?" She asked as she put a hand on the top of the container.

"Yes, please," I said as she pulled open a door on the back and gently pulled out our fragile baby. She had wires and tubes hanging from her small body and even a breathing tube like the one I was wearing. She was placed in my arms, resting on my chest. The nurse then smiled before leaving with a pleased smile.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" Simon asked as he moved his chair closer and put one hand to her small hand and the other on my shoulder. I couldn't speak. I was feeling a rush of emotions. I felt tears slide down my cheeks. I nodded and Simon chuckled and wiped the tears away. Riley opened her eyes and I was met with two ocean blue orbs. Her little hands stretched out which resulted in her hand resting on top of Simon's. Her legs kicked out and then went back to their original placement, resting on my arm. I smiled at her as she stared up at me.

"Shall I invite the others in?" Simon asked as he lent his head on my shoulder. I nodded and he kissed my cheek before going over to the door and stepping out for a minute before returning with everyone else following. First was Nikki, then Josh, Tobi, Vikk, JJ, Harry, Ethan, and both Cal's.

"Oh my gosh, she's so cute," Nikki said as she went to the opposite side of the bed than Simon was sitting by. She reached out a finger and traced over her small knuckle. Riley opened her eyes and looked around a bit before opening her tiny mouth in a yawn. Harry was stood behind Nikki and was looking over her shoulder.

"Awe, that was adorable," Harry said in a high pitched voice. Nikki gave him a weird look and he just shrugged. Josh was stood next to where Simon was sitting. Josh's hand was on Simon's shoulder.

"How are you feeling, Lee?" Josh asked.

"I'm exhausted, but so happy-words can't even describe it," I said and still had tears in my eyes from earlier.

After everyone had a chance to see Riley, they were all told to go home by one of the doctors because visiting hours were over. The same nurse from earlier had come and had to put Riley back in the glass box. It was hard for me to hand her over like that. I never wanted to let her go.

Simon was laying on the bed with me at the moment. My hospital room had a couch in it for him to sleep on, but I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep unless he was with me. I was also kind of down right now because I wasn't allowed to feed Riley, the nurses had to. She was so small that she had trouble eating properly. Simon moved his arm around my shoulders and I leaned my head on his shoulder. Riley was currently out of the room, being fed.

"So I was talking with the doctor while you were napping earlier and she said that you would most likely be able to come home tomorrow," Simon said, breaking the silence. I sighed.

"That's good, but I don't want to leave without Riley," I said while playing with Simon's fingers. I know that we can't stay here the whole time with Riley and that kills me. It must be killing Simon too.

"I know, but we get to come and see her  everyday until she does get to come home with us. At least we won't have to get up in the middle of the night for a while," Simon said looking on the bright side of things. I laughed.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," I said and Simon tightened his arm around me.

This is the end. I wrote this story a long time ago. Looking back on it, I can't help but cringe. A lot of it was very inaccurate to how things really work. I feel like I just needed to end it off though. This chapter has been ready for well over a year now, I just kind of forgot about it. I guess I can say I actually have one completed book on here now. Until next time, Ilya, bye!
