Rachel's POV:
"You won't do shit," I broke our intense eye contact with a stern voice.

"I won't?" Kaiden raised an eyebrow, testing me.

Without acknowledging what I did, I rolled my eyes again. Immediately, I felt a pair of rough chapped and bruised lips crash into mine.

My eyes went wide. This is wrong. But it feels... right. I closed my eyes and let it happen, and before I knew it, he was deepening the kiss.

"Kaiden no," I managed to mumble into the kiss, before giving in.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. He moved his hands from my face to my waist. Kaiden held me tightly, pushing me further onto the wall, as if possible.

He lifted me off of the floor, wrapping my legs around him. He made his way over to what felt like the couch, never parting our lips. He slowly set me down, crawling on top immediately.

I pulled him in closer as our breathing got heavy. He trailed his hand down to my thigh, then slowly up my skirt.

I parted our lips and pushed his off with more force than I intended.

"What's wrong?" Kaiden asked as he remained straddling me.

"We can't do this," I spoke out of breath and I began to remove myself from under him.

"Why not?" Kaiden let me get off the couch.

"Are you kidding me?" I stared at him in disbelief.

"I'm serious, why not?" Kaiden took a seat.

"Kaiden," I began, "you have a fucking girlfriend. I barely know you honestly."

I began to make my way towards the door, "I have to go."

"Rachel come on."

"I'll see you later for the project," I rushed out before running out the door.

I jogged back home, entering quietly in hopes of not being caught. When I opened the door, Logan was sleeping on the couch, snoring louder than ever. I let out a sigh of relief before slowly making my way up the stairs. As I reached the top step, a figure stepped in my way.

"Where the hell were you? You look a mess," Ethan crossed his arms in front of his chest, holding in a laugh.

"Must you always insult?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, yes I must," his attempted to contain his laughter before clearing his throat, "so where were you?"

"Just out," I replied as I attempted to walk past him.

"That doesn't answer my question," he blocked my path.

"I went to go get some coffee then came back here," I partially lied.

He looked at my wrist and ankle, and let out a sigh, "fine."

He gently turned me around and nudged me down a step, "come on."

I walked back down the stairs, Ethan following behind. He led me to the kitchen and told me to take a seat at the central island. I did as I was told as he walked over to the fridge.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I laid my head on the central island.

"Getting you ice," he explained as he pulled out two ice packs from the freezer.
