Rachel's POV:
"Yea, would you mind?" Daniel looked at me."No, not at all," I spoke to my ex and the clueless principle in front of me.
"Great, you're both dismissed now," Principle Erickson spoke as he went back to his seat.
I walked out of the principle's office and turned around.
"Why are you here?" I asked rather lowly.
"I transferred here," Daniel smiled at me before smirking, "aren't you happy to see me?"
"Not now," I mumbled before grabbing the piece of paper out of his hand.
"Rachel that was last year, let it go," Daniel spoke as he moved closer to me.
I ignored his last comment and read the piece of paper.
"You have AP Chemistry first period, so do I."
"Awesome," Daniel wrapped an arm around my shoulders, "Lead the way."
I began to walk towards Mrs. Zetterstrum's classroom. Having Daniel's arm around me can't possibly do any good for the rumors already being spread around about me.
People began to stare as I passed by with Daniel. I did my best to ignore the looks but I could tell Daniel loved the attention.
"Good morning Miss James," Mrs. Zetterstrum greeted me as I entered the classroom, "Miss Jackson informed me that you were with Principle Erickson this morning."
"Yea, Principle Erickson asked me to show a new student around," I responded.
"I see, well welcome to AP Chemistry, please take a seat anywhere," Mrs. Zetterstrum spoke as she turned to write on the board.
I walked over to my seat, only to have Daniel follow me.
"What are you doing?" I turned to ask Daniel, stopping him mid-track.
"Taking a seat like the teacher said to," Daniel mocked.
I turned around and rolled my eyes. I took a seat in my usual spot.
"Here looks good," Daniel spoke as he sat down in Kaiden's seat.
"That seat's taken," I tell Daniel.
"I don't see a name on it."
I stayed quiet and took out my pencil and notebook. Ten minutes into the class, Kaiden rushes in.
"Mr. Gray, nice of you to join us today," Mrs. Zetterstrum sarcastically greets Kaiden.
"Yea yea," he spoke as he made his way to his seat.
"Who the fuck is this," Kaiden grunted at Daniel.
"Who the fuck are you," Daniel mocked in return.
"I'm the guy who's about to kick your ass if you don't get out of my seat."
"Oh really?" Daniel tested him.
"Daniel just move," I leaned my head onto my hand.
Daniel looked at me shocked before looking at Kaiden. Without saying a word, Daniel got up and took the seat at the table next to us. Kaiden sat down and tossed his bookbag onto the floor. Neither of us said a word to each other through the entire class.
