Rachel's POV:
I woke up to the feeling of someone shaking me. I fluttered my eyes open."Morning princess," Kaiden smirked down at me as he tore the blanket off of me.
"Wh-what time is it?" I asked as I shifted onto my stomach, burying my face into the pillow.
"It's 5 passed 7."
"Then why are you waking me up?" I groaned into the pillow.
"Because we need to finish the project."
I lifted my head from the pillow, shifting in my spot in order to face him.
"I finished the poster already," I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I need you to glue the pictures on while I finish editing," Kaiden scratched the back of his head.
"You couldn't have put the pictures yourself? And why didn't you finish the video?" I started to grow aggravated.
I let my head drop onto the pillow and shut my eyes. I could hear Kaiden groan under his breath.
"Fine go back to sleep," Kaiden spoke, tossing the blanket onto my body.
"That's the plan," I replied as I drifted back to sleep.
Kaiden's POV:
I closed the door to the bedroom Rachel was in as soon as I heard my phone ringing from the room across. I walked into Rachel's bedroom, gently closing the door behind me, reaching for the phone and swiping the accept icon."Hello?"
"The shipment just got in. Tonight's the night," Anthony's voice was stern.
"When do we..." I stopped talking for a second, making sure no one was eavesdropping, "...attack?"
"Dad wants you at the safe house no later than 3, we have a lot to prepare," I could hear the faint voice of my father in the background, "bring your black clothes."

"It's not even, bring the right side up a little higher," Jacqueline instructed me as she ripped off a small piece of tape."I didn't even want to do this," I groaned as I lifted the right side of the poster higher.
"Oh quit complaining, it beats staying in Calculus doesn't it?" Jackie spoke as she pressed onto the poster, "besides we get community service hours for being on the decorating committee."
"Yea I guess," I gave in as Jacqueline passed he the roll of tape.
We took about 10 minutes to put up the poster for the upcoming Christmas dance. After we set it up, we decided to skip the rest of the class and just sit in the hallway, causally acting like we were putting up other decorations when any faculty member passed by.
"So how was Chemistry today?" Jacqueline asked after taking a bite out of the Rice Krispy treat she bought out of the vending machine out in the hallway.
"It was weird. Kaiden wasn't there today," I looked at her, furrowing my eyebrows.
She gave me the same confused look to match mine. When I had woken up this morning about an hour after Kaiden had woken me up, the house was completely empty. The mess of makers and colored pencils were cleaned up off of the floor and put away.
I attempted to call Kaiden about five times this morning, confused about what had happened in that hour I was asleep. After leaving a couple of text messages and a voicemail, I gave up trying to contact him and made my way to school.
