Rachel's POV:
"What the hell are you talking about?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

"There was no other option."

"No other option? Your only option to keep your dad happy was to trap me in some sort is marriage? What typed of fucked up option is that?" I tossed my arms in the air.

"The one that keeps us alive."

"Us? As in me and you? Or you and your gang?"

Kaiden took a deep breath and rolled his eyes.

"Why are you giving me such shit about this?Yes Rachel I'm in a fucking gang. But newsflash; so. are. you."

I swallowed hard.

"I didn't have a choice-"

"Neither did I! You think I wanted to join? You think I woke up one day and thought 'you know what I want to do today? Become part of the most wanted gang of criminals known in the state'. When your dad is the fucking leader, you don't have a choice. You should know that better than anyone."

I sat at the edge of the bed, staring down at my feet.

"Let's leave."

I looked up at Kaiden; anger still completely visible in his eyes. I looked around the room and at the fridge.

I sighed. "I need a drink."

I walked over to the mini fridge and grabbing the bottle of wine above it.

"You can take it with you, let's go," Kaiden said as he grabbed my arm and guided me out of the door.

I followed him down the stairs, my legs shaking as I got closer and closer to the parking lot. What will Victor do when he finds out? Maybe I won't tell him.

"Let's take your car, I'll call someone to keep mine."

"Fine," I mumbled.

We got into the car and Kaiden slowly started to drive out of the parking lot. I played with the top of the wine bottle, tracing the circular opening. From the corner of my eye I noticed Kaiden glancing back and forth between the road and me.

"You're mad at me?" He spoke.

I rolled my eyes and turned on the radio.

"Rachel."

I turned up the volume.

"Rachel."

Turned up the volume more.

"Rachel!"

More.

"Oh for fucks sake."

He stopped the car and shut off the radio.

"What are you doing? Keep driving," I motioned to the road ahead.

"Not until you stop acting like a baby," Kaiden removed the keys and placed them into his pocket.
