Rachel's POV:
"What did she say?" I turned to Kaiden, holding my breath.

"What are you talking about?" Kaiden took a sip of his juice, not bothering to look up at me.

"That lady," I growled through my teeth, "What the hell is she talking about?"

"How the hell should I know? I don't even know who she is," Kaiden shrugged, "She's probably high or something."

I rolled my eyes and scooted out of the booth quickly. I ran out of the diner and after the lady. I heard Kaiden shouting my name behind me.

"Excuse me," I shouted as I approached the lady and the man, who were getting into their car.

Once they heard me shout for them, they stopped unlocking their car and looked at me. The lady gave me a big welcoming smile while the man just stood there standing.

"Yes?" the lady grinned.

"I'm sorry, what did you mean back there when you said "Congrats on the wedding"?

"Exactly what I said," the lady laughed a bit, looking at me like I was insane.

"Yeah, I know that. I mean... what wedding?"

"Your wedding," the lady said.

"I'll wait in the car," the man spoke up as he got into the car.

"My wedding?" I asked, pointing at myself.

"Yeah. Yours and his. You two got married yesterday remember?"

As I shook my head she continued.

"What am I saying, of course you don't remember. You two were really hammered last night. You guys walked out of some casino laughing at some pigeon walking around eating bread. Then you bumped into us on the street and invited us for some drinks and then you two wanted to get married and "live happily every after."

I ran both of my hands through my already messy hair, tugging on it.

"Oh my gosh," I cried to myself.

I heard footsteps walking up behind me, but I didn't bother turning around to look. I knew exactly who it was.

"Rachel what the hell was that?" Kaiden shouted from behind me, worsening my headache.

"Stop shouting," I muttered angrily.

"Then don't fucking run out like that," Kaiden stood next to me, his arms crossed in front of his chest.

"Look we have to go but um.. it was great seeing you two again," the lady said as she backed away and got into her car.

They drove off and disappeared into the distance. I turned to face Kaiden, my hands still tugging my hair, only much less painful now.

"We're married?"

"I guess so," Kaiden shrugged.

My blood began to boil.

"This isn't a fucking joke Kaiden. I can't be fucking married to you."

"Ouch," Kaiden placed his hand on his heart, faking a hurt expression.

"This is serious. We need to fix this now."

"Look, this isn't something we should be discussing in the parking lot of a diner," Kaiden took a step closer to me and lowered his voice, "People are starting to stare."

I looked around and saw people walking into the diner, giving us weird side glances as they walked past us.

"Come on let's get out of here. We can talk about this somewhere else."
