Chapter 8

The next morning I woke up and I didnt remember how I got in Wills bed. I sat up and pushed my disheveled hair back and realized I was not in what I wore last night. I was wearing Wills shirt and no pants on. I sighed and fell back into bed. Ive only known him for not even a week and Im already sleeping with him. I thought to myself. I heard noise from the kitchen and came to the conclusion it was Will. I got up and walked out to see him standing shirtless and in gym shorts. He heard me walk in and turned around.
"Goodmorning Cher." He said smiling and walking up and kissed me on the forehead
"Goodmorning." I said smiling at the little gesture
"Im making breakfast for you." He said going back to the stove
"Can I help with anything?" I asked trying to avoid what happened last night
"You can make coffee." He said smiling and winking at me. I thought to myself that I should have put pants on as I walked over to the coffee machine
We got all of breakfast made and we were sitting down ready to eat
"Whats on your mind darlin?" He asked as he took a sip of orange juice
"Last night." I said slightly smirking thinking of the kisses we shared
"Last night was something." He said looking deep into my eyes
"Im sorry Will. Im usually not that kind of girl and I dont know what I was thinking..." I started to say before he started laughing
"Whats so funny?" I asked frustrated
"Jennifer, we didnt sleep together last night." He said smiling
"But I woke up in your shirt." I said dumbfounded
"Because you took yours off as well as mine." He said still smiling
"But..." I said before he interrupted me again
"Cher. Im a southern gentleman. I knew you were drunk and I would never take advantage of you like that. You are too beautiful for that. I carried you to my room and things got heated but I stopped and put my shirt on you. I dont know when you took your pants off. I tucked you in and came and slept on the couch." He said smiling his innocent smile and pointed over to the couch that had a pillow and blanket on it.
"Oh thank god." I said in relief
"You do have a good body though." He said winking at me
"Shut up." I said lightly punching him
"I would rather get to know you better before we take that step. You are too perfect of a women for me to lose to being a one night stand." He said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear
I smiled at his comment and looked down
"I mean it Jennifer Jareau. The moment I first laid my eyes on you there was some spark that started a fire in me. There is something special I see in you. And I want you to give me a chance to prove something to you." He said as a tear fell down my face
"Will I dont know what to say." I said as he wiped the tear away
"Dont say anything. Let me prove it to you cause I know you felt the same way about me." He said as I nodded yes
I knew it was true. I knew the moment I met him he was going to change my life for the better
"Now lets enjoy the week we have together." He said giving me a peck on the cheek
We finished eating and got ready to enjoy the day he had planned.

I walked out and saw him sitting on the couch watching tv with Ranger on his lap.
"Ok lets go. I have a great way of showing you around this awesome city of mine." He said standing up and guiding me out the door
"What are we doing?" I asked
"Going to the bayou." He said smiling and opening my car door
"Whats out there?" I asked when he got in
"A surprise."   He said grinning from ear to ear
This could be interesting I thought to myself as we drove to our destination.
