Chapter 26

I finished getting ready and walked into the living room seeing everyone sitting quietly.
"What did I miss?" I asked confused
"I pissed Will off." Nate said looking up and me with a bag of frozen blue berries to his face
I rolled my eyes and grabbed Nate by the shirt and back to my room.
"What did you do?" I asked closing the door and turning around to face him
"I was on the phone with a buddy of mine and was complaining about you and called you some names. Will walked out and heard me and well thats how I got this." He said removing the bag and showing a black eye
"Can you just stop?" I asked crossing my arms
"What do you mean just stop?" He asked getting confused
"Pissing everyone off. We get it. You are the man of the family now but you can stop being an asshole." I said before continuing
"Dads dead okay. We all know we all went through it. This isnt how dad raised you and I know for damn sure he raised you to be a man. Ive been helping mom the most with everything. You walk into the picture and are just a straight up asshole to us." I said as I watched his face sadden
"Jenny, Im sorry. I know how I have been acting is inappropriate.  Im going to change back to my normal self. It was just hard being passed that responsibility of being the man for the family. Hell Hollys mom left me with her because she wasnt ready to be a mother but I refused to let her go into the system. I need to be a better son, brother , and father. Im sorry Jenny, can we please just got back to normal and stop fighting?" He asked with tears in his eyes
"Only if you stop starting the fights." I slightly laughed going over to give him a hug
"I will. And you better keep Will around. Hes a nice guy I like him for you." He said as we pulled away and I nodded
"Can we go see Shelby now?" Mom asked on the other side of the door
"Yeah." Nate said walking out and I followed

We get to the hospital and shes awake.
"Hey." Mom says walking in
"Whats wrong with your face?" She asked Nate right away
"Will got a piece of me." He said with a smug smile
"I like him already." She laughed as he rolled his eyes
"Join the club." Mom said laughing
The doctors came in and signed all the necessary paper work for her to be transferred.
"We can still come up mom its no big deal." I said still wanting to make sure she was alright
"Jen its fine now enjoy your man while hes here and you have the tine off." She said giving me one last hug
"Fine. Call when you get back." I said as she got into the car
"Its going to be fine cher. Lets get you back home so you can get ready for dinner." Will said guiding me back to the car
"So where we are going is not a place I could wear yoga pants?" I asked winking
"No its not. Now get in." He said opening the car door and smacking my ass while I got in

We get back and my place is a mess.
"I hate when they visit." I sighed seeing it
"I will take care of it. Go get ready." He said picking up the random blankets
I get ready and hes sitting on the couch in my newly clean apartment.
"I should keep you around longer." I laughed as he stood up
"Lets go eat." He laughed

"Youre beautiful." He said making me look up from my menu making me smile
"Youre handsome." I said laughing
"So are we ever going to visit your mom?" I asked as he looked surprised
"You heard that?" He asked and I smiled nodding
"Well I guess I better take you to meet her. She will love you. Maybe more than she loves me." He laughed taking my menu out of my hand
"I wasnt done." I laughed
"I know what you want." He said winking

We stumbled back into my apartment drunk ripping each others clothes off as we go. We finally get back to the bed room and I pushed him on to the bed.
"I cant wait to marry you one day." I said between kisses before he flipped me on bottom to start our wild night
