Chapter 30

I woke up at my usual time and got ready before checking on Hannah. I walked out of my room and looked inside the guest room seeing she was still sleeping. I woke her up and allowed her to get ready for today.
"Thanks for last night." She said walking out in what she had on last night
"Do you want to borrow some clothes? I know they will fit you." I asked as she nodded yes
"Here is an old pair of jeans and a shirt." I said passing her the folded up clothes
"Thanks Jenny." She said as I left her alone and got everything ready before going to the office

"Is Shelby coming back?" She asked after we left Starbucks
"Im not sure, I dont think so." I said knowing how hard she took it
"I know her grades slipped and she lost the scholarship. We had to sit her down and talk about it." Hannah said before taking a sip
"I know. Rules are rules and she fell under the GPA." I said reminiscing on my life in college
"Why are we going to your office first?" She asked noticing we were leaving the city
"We take SUVs and Emily will probably do a cognitive interview before we go to school." I said as she nodded
"Agent Jareau." I said as I picked up my phone not looking at the number as it was on speaker
"Well you sound sexy Agent Jareau." Will said making me take him off of speaker instantly
"Why are you up so early?" I laughed trying to hid my embarrassment
"Just got called in and driving to the scene. Two murdered outside the quarter. I have a feeling it was a murder suicide." He said as I nodded
"Im about to pull up to the office. I will call you when I can. Good luck I love you." I said smiling as he told me he loved me too
"Sexy accent." Hannah said laughing once I hung up
"Not a single word." I said pointing at her
"Dont worry. Your secret is safe with me. Sister promise." She said ad I pulled into the parking garage

"Shes with me." I said walking to the reception desk getting her a visitors pass
"Whats her purpose for today?" The guard asked as I rolled my eyes and answered the question
"You know the rules Agent Jareau." He said as he gave me the visitors badge
"Thanks Paul." I said as we walked away and got on the elevator

"We are going to stop by my office first. I need to drop my things off and check any phone calls." I said as I unlocked my door and went inside
"Nice office." She said sitting in front of me
"Thanks." I said as I sat down and opened my laptop
"Conference room now." Penelope said frantically before stopping and noticing Hannah
"New friend. Whos this?" She asked
"Hannah." She said standing up to shake her hand
"Cool. JJ now." She said as I got up and followed her and Hannah followed after me
"Pen nothing came across me yet." I said still confused
"Its a mad house. Hotch is mad and so is Gidden." She said as we walked up the stairs on the catwalk
"Hes holding them captive." Hotch said as soon as we walked in
"Get her out Garcia." I said pushing Hannah to be with Garcia
"Wait Jenny." Hannah said as I watched Garcia pull her away to her office
"Why is she here?" Emily asked still looking at the news
"She was almost raped last night. She knows who he is." I said keeping my eyes glued to the tv
"She stays her with you JJ. The rest of us will go to the school and try to get the girls out of there." Hotch said as the the team left leaving me alone watching the news

I get back to my office putting things together and ignoring the phone as it rang like crazy from the media. Not the time I said to myself
My personal phone rang and I picked it seeing it was Will.
"Are you ok?" Was the first thing he said
"Hello to you too." I said sarcastically
"I went to the dinner and it was on the news. The rapist is keeping your sorority hostage." He said knowing it should effect me
"It is what it is Will. I love you for checking in on me but I need to start getting a press conference ready. I love you." I said as he repeated back and we hung up
"Its getting bad down there." Hannah said walking into my office.
"I know I need to go and deal with the reporters." I said putting my gun in my holster
"They still dont know who the man is." I said looking at her
"Its Coach Burke." She said looking down at her feet
"As in the new mens soccer coach and former athlete." I asked stunned and she nodded yes
"Stay in my office." I said almost running out and to the elevator

"Hotch I know who it is." I said almost out of breath as I ran to the team stationed out front of the house
"Who?" Morgan asked looking at me
"Jake Burke. Hes the new soccer coach and he graduated before me." I said looking into the house
"Jake Burke, this is Jason Gidden with the FBI. We know who you are now." He said over the megaphone as he peaked out the curtains.
"I need to get in there. He will talk to me." I begged Hotch and Gidden
"Can you connect with him?" Gidden asked as I nodded
"Wear a vest. He is armed." Hotch said passing me one

I walked up to the house that felt like slow motion with every step I took finally reaching the door and knocking.
"Jake, its me Jenny."I said knocking again but louder
"Jenny Jareau?" He said barely opening the door only allowing me to see his bloodshot eyes
"Yes. Can I come in?" I asked as he quickly nodded and allowed me in.
