Thanksgiving Part 1

"Mom, its way to early to cook." I said walking down the stairs smelling breakfast
"I made breakfast." She said more flustered than usual on Thanksgiving
"Why? We will be eating like all day." I asked taking a piece of bacon
"I wanted to." She simply said as Shelby joined me
"Mom why all the food. We are eating all day." She said copying me
"Just stop you two." She said slamming down a tray of biscuits
"Ohhh is Peter coming?" Shelby asked trying to hid her laughter
"Whos Peter?" I asked raising my eyebrows at mom
"Its her boyfriend." Shelby said mockingly as she went to get a glass of orange juice
"So I finally get to meet mystery man." I said having another piece of bacon
"Are you two going to help or stand there?" She asked as we both got the picture and started to help

"I found someone at the door." Will said before lazily kissing my check
"Who?" My mom asked before turning around
"Goodmorning Sandy." Who I took to be Peter said at the door way making her jump and turn around
"Hi Peter. I thought you were coming around noon." She said going for a hug
"I wanted to come over earlier." He said smiling
"You must be Jennifer." He said putting his hand out to shake
"You must be the famous Peter." I said with a smile shaking it
"Jenn Will, can you go get ice and drinks and stuff?" Mom asked
"I want to get to know Peter more." I said sitting down next to Will has he started eating a plate of food
"Now." She said demanding
"But..." Will started to say with a mouth full of food
"Will I love you like a son so I will treat you like one take your food to go." She said scaring the both of us
"Umm ok." We both said leaving automatically

"That was so weird." I said sitting in the car giving Will directions to the store
"She didnt even let me finish breakfast and it was good." Will said disappointed
"I dont know why shes stressed. She always host this many people on Thanksgiving." I said confused
"Well its the first one with Peter." He said making us both laugh

"So what exactly do we need?" Will asked as we walked up and down the isle
"Ice and drinks was all I got." I said as we finally found the sodas
"Well isnt it the redneck. What are you doin up here?" We heard from behind us making us both tense
"Hunter come on its Thanksgiving. We dont want any trouble." I said collecting what we would need
"I always loved your mothers cooking. Wish you could have learned to cook almost as half as good as she can." He said sarcastically
"Ignore him cher." Will whispered in my ear
"I figured you wouldnt be going home to New York. Knowing your parents they wouldnt have wanted a son who had a child out of wedlock." I said knowing his family to well
"They love my daughter." He spat back
"Have they even met her?" I asked as his body language changed to answer it being a no
"And your with some redneck. Hope you dont plan on her settling down anytime soon." He said looking to Will
"Just leave us alone man. We understand you had a terrible childhood but we are happy. Go be with your family." Will said guiding me and our cart out of the isle leaving him there
"Jenny." He said trying to get us to stop
"I hate the name Jenny." I said to Will as he started laughing
"I love you Jenny." He said with a goofy grin
"I love you Billy." I said with a small laugh
"Okay thats not cool." He said as I kissed him on the cheek
"I wasnt finished." Hunter said behind us as we got into line
"We were Hunter." Will said as we started to put everything on the check out counter
"You will regret breaking up with me." He said as his last resort
"Why would I? I have my dream career. I found the true love of my life. I was never meant to be with you. You cheated on me you ended us and I would have ended us a lot sooner if I knew about you and Rachel." I said trying to stay behind Will
He stood there dumbfounded as we packed back up the cart and left.

"That was good cher." Will said once we got everything in the car
"I hate him so much." I said getting into the passenger side
"I know but I love you." He said giving me a kiss
"I love you too." I said as we pulled away

"Did you hear that?" I asked Will as we were stopped at the intersection in front of the community center.
"Ya. Sounded like a Glock 19." He said as we turned the music off
"You dont think." I said before he turned into the parking lot

"We arent armed." I said as we sat and waited for another shot
"I know call the police." He said right before there was another shot.
"Detective Jareau." Nate said
"Nate we are hearing shots from the community center." I said calmly
"Are you two armed?" He asked
"No." I said back
"Ok stay there Im coming with units." He said as another shot came and we heard screaming
"Will no." I yelled as he got out of the car and ran inside.
