I woke up the next morning at five. I showered and double checked I had everything I would need. I contemplated on taking my car or a taxi. I ended up with a taxi. After I called the taxi company my phone went off seeing that it was from Will
*Goodmorning beautiful. I cant wait to pick you up from the airport. I will be the guy standing impatiently to see your pretty face. -Will*
My heart fluttered as I read that and wrote back
*Goodmorning, Im about to get picked up by my taxi. I will be the blonde that will be confused walking out of the gate.-JJ*
The taxi pulls up and I go down to get in.
"So where too?" He asked while I got in
"The airport." I said with a slight smile
We drove to the airport and I got out and paid him. I checked my suitcase in and walked to security. I have never had a problem with security. When its work related Im able to flash my badge and I have complete access to the airport. But today I was a normal civilian that was flying to see a man. As I thought more about Will I questioned what we would be after this trip. I shook it off and decided that I should enjoy something like this no matter how crazy of a whim it is.
*Can I call you?-Will* My phone said after I got passed security
I called him up and was greeted by his sleepy voice
"Are you at the airport?" Was the first thing he said
"Yes and I am currently standing in a long line for coffee." I said sarcastically
"How much coffee do you drink?" He asked chuckling
"Enough for a small army on stand down in Russia." I laughed as slowly taking a step up
"I will keep that in mind. I cant wait to see you. I know we just met but I miss those pretty blue eyes. Im always drowning in them." He said making me smile
"Well you get them for a week." I laughed as I got up to the front
"I better make the most of it." He said making me smile even more
"Hold on one second Will." I said when I got up to order. I ordered my usual venti white chocolate mocha extra hot and paid.
"Sorry." I said bring the phone back to my ear
"So fancy. I was really hoping you werent a straight black coffee person. That could just harm your tiny little body." He said knowing I knew he was smirking
"I do drink black. But thats when Im desperate enough and we are out of creamer in the office." I laughed as I sat down in front of my gate
"I have to get some errands done before I get you. Have a safe flight, I cant wait to see you." He said and we said our goodbyes.
I sat looking at the door to the plane and thought I could leave right now and it would be fine. But I couldnt disappoint him. I need to see what is going on between us and I need to see him again.
"Flight 3588 to New Orleans now boarding." Spoke aloud snapping me out of my thoughts about this week. I stood up and gave her my ticket. Thankful that I always get to sit in the business class and not with everyone else in economy. Perks of being an agent right? I thought to myself as I sat down.
The flight was faster than I thought. The announcement telling us that we were about to land caught my attention as I felt I was knee deep in a serious murder case that might need our attention when we get back next Monday. I got my things together and left the plane.
I walked out of the gate and out of security to see him standing there. Will was standing there in a grey v-neck and jeans holding pink roses.
