Chapter 43

"Watch out for the chicken." I said laughing as another chicken ran in front of the car
"Damn cher." He said laughing
"Why do they let all these chickens run free?" I asked looking at him
"I have no idea. But they are scaring me." He said pulling into the parking lot to Teds Bakery
We ordered some local food and sat over looking the water at Sunset beach
"This is perfect." I said leaning my head on his shoulder
"You make us perfect." He said feeding me a french fry
"Hows the transfer going?" I asked wanting him to move up soon
"It got denied." He said really disappointed
"What do you mean?" I asked sitting up and looking at him
"It had to go through one more process and I guess it got denied." He said not even looking at me
"So your not going to move up this year?" I asked a little heartbroken
"At the moment no." He said playing with some sand
"Do you want me to put a transfer in?" I asked
"No. I dont want you to move to New Orleans." He said sternly breaking my heart a little
"Why?" I asked trying not to sound hurt
"Because your job is more important there and you are needed." He said finally looking at me
"Babe if you want me to I can." I said looking in his eyes
"I dont want you to. Now drop it." He said taking me by surprise as I looked at him with my mouth open as he looked back at the water

We sat in silence as we rode around the island looking for some things to do for the next day.
"Cher Im sorry." Will said finally breaking it
"Its fine." I said dryly looking out the window
"You want a dole whip?" He asked as I tried to hide my smile
"Do you want coffee?" He asked before stopping in front of this coffee plantation
I still didnt answer and he got out and went inside

"I figured you would want this." He said giving me a frappachino
"This is amazing!" I said after taking a sip
"Good. I knew coffee would get you to talk to me again." He said before kissing my forehead
"I promise I will try and get everything to work out." He said before I kissed him to shut him up
"You wanna go back to the hotel?" He asked as I quickly nodded yes

"JJ I love you." Will said coming up behind me as I fixed my lipstick to go out to dinner that the hotel was hosting
"I love you too." I said turning around in his arms to give him a kiss
"I promise to work my hardest to transfer up." He said as I thought back to getting ready and having a little surprise for him later
"I know. Its no big deal everything will work out." I said giving him a soft kiss on the cheek
"Lets go to dinner Mrs.LaMontange." Will said and winked as we left the hotel room

"This is awesome." I whispered to Will as we watched the fire dancers
"The food is not bad either." He said taking another bite from my plate
"That is mine." I said sarcastically
"I know exactly what is mine." He winked as his hand made its way up my thigh
"Oh really?" I asked looking into his eyes as they filled with lust
"I can show you." He said making me blush
"But after dinner." He said taking his hand off me and taking a sip of his drink

We drunkenly made our way back to our room kissing every second we got a chance.
"Turn around." He said once we made it into the room and the door was closed
Will slowly moved my hair out of the way and unzipped my dress allowing it to fall.
"Damn cher. You are killing me." He said taking in the special surprise I had bought the day before.
"Do you like?" I asked turning around to face him
"I love it. I hope this bra wasnt expensive or these panties." He said ripping them off before starting our first night together.

"Room 716." Will said next to me waking me up
"We are in room 716." I said stretching and pulling the sheet up as I sat up
"I know. Room service for breakfast babe." He said as I leaned my head on his shoulder
"Last night." I said as he pulled me to lay on his chest
"What part of last night?" He asked laughing
"All of it was amazing." I said snuggling close to him
"That wasnt an expensive set was it?" He asked as he drew random things along my back
"Not really just 50." I said laughing
"JJ you spent 50 dollars on two pieces of lingerie." He said surprised
"Maybe. It would have been more if it was at Victoria Secret." I laughed not really caring about it
"Well you did look sexy." He said as room service knocked on the door

"Thank you." Will said closing the door and pushing the cart full of food in front of the bed
"This looks good." I said eyeing an omelet with all my favorites inside
"Please put this on." Will said laughing as he gave me his shirt to put on
"Am I to distracting?" I asked laughing
"Yes." He said forcing the shirt on me
"What are the plans for today?" I asked taking a bite of my omelet
"You will see." He said winking before he started eating

"Call you mom before we go out for today." Will said walking out to the balcony where I was standing watching the waves come in
"Fine." I said taking my phone from him as he left me alone
"Jennifer finally." She said picking up
"Im sorry." I said right away
"Ive been worried. All of a sudden I get a call from Will saying you were asleep on his couch because you killed someone." She said still worried
"He was the suspect. He murdered some people and tried to murder one of our own. He had a gun pointed at another agent and they had me come in and gave me the ok to shoot." I said trying not to sound like it still was upsetting to me
"Jenny its fine. Its part of your job. I love you and I love Will for doing this for you. Enjoy your time. I will see you when you get back." She said as we did our good byes and I joined Will back into the room ready to start our adventure for the day.
