Chapter 16

"Earth to Jenny." The voice slightly laughed as I turned around to see him standing there.
"Hunter." I said trying to push past him to get back to Will
"You still look good." He said checking me out
"And your still an asshole." I said looking over his shoulder for Will
"What brings you back into town." He said still checking me out
"To visit my mom. Why are you here?" I asked realizing he hated small town life
"Babe." A womens voice called from the back
"On the floor. Guess who is in town?" He said as I turned around seeing my old best friend heavily pregnant.
"Oh shit." I said as a smile crept on my face
"JJ!" She said getting closer to me
"Well this is a nice reunion." Hunter said pulling her to his side to show ownership of her
"And I still hate you both." I said turning around and walking away
"Hey, darlin. Look what I found for Holly." He said smiling and holding up a doll
"Can we go?" I asked wanting to leave fast
"Let me check out." He said giving me a kiss on the check and going to the counter with both Hunter and Rachel both behind it
"A southern boy all the way up here." I heard Hunter say in a mocking tone
"Yeah, my girl grew up here, we came to visit her mom." He said making me smile at him saying my girl
"And who is that? I grew up here too." Rachel said preppy as always
"Jennifer Jareau." He said happily as he paid in cash
"Good luck with her." Hunter scoffed clearly trying to make Will upset
"Excuse me?" Will asked a little agitated
"Shes crazy that one. Works for the FBI." Rachel said bagging the doll
I decided it was time to step in before it gets even more heated.
"You cheated on me with my best friend. Snd you two think Im crazy." I said stepping up next to Will as his arm automatically wrapped around my waist
"You left him for almost two weeks." Rachel said trying to defend themselves
"For my dads funeral. You know what we dont need to be here Will. Lets go home." I said walking away before getting stopped by him holding my hand
"You two are assholes. You are just some slut that slept with him and now look where you are, pregnant with his child, or the possibility of his child." He said pointing at Rachel before going after Hunter "And you. You made the mistake of cheating on her. Jennifer is the most perfect, beautiful, loving, kind, gentle, and everything a man would want in a women. You are now stuck here with her and not being able to live your life anymore. Congratulations you both lost the game of life." He said before he stormed off and I followed behind him. We stopped out front of the ice cream shop.
"Well that was sexy." I said pulling him into a kiss
"You think so. I swear if you werent there I would have jumped that counter and slammed his head into it." He said as I saw the fire light up in his eyes
"Hun. I wish we werent staying at my moms house." I whispered in his ear causing him to laugh

"Hey, hillbilly hick." Hunters voice boomed as he made his way towards us
"Damn I hate my southern charm." He said winking and giving me another kiss
It all happened to fast. One punch to Wills stomach had him hunched over.
"That was some punch." He laughed after catching his breath
He ignored Wills comment and looked over to me with his finger nearly in my face
"And you. Dont you ever show your face again in this town. You know what I am capable of, you have experienced it before." He said before I slammed him into the wall holding his arms behind his back
"You really want to play this game Hunter. Im a federal agent. I can arrest you right now for making that threat. You and I both know what sick monster you are. I hope you dont treat Rachel that way and will never hurt that child, if its yours." I said from my gritted teeth
"Jenn." Will said putting his hand on my shoulder making me snap out of my anger filled moment.
"This is my town. I grew up here you didnt. Go before I arrest you." I said pushing him towards the toy store

We drove back in silence to the house before Will pulled over down a random dirt road that lead to a party field.
"What the hell was that about?" He asked upset
"What do you mean?" I asked hoping he wasnt mentioning the threat made to me from Hunter
"JJ, you know what I mean." He said grabbing my hand
"Hunters threat was nothing. It only happened once, I made sure of it." I said trying to reassure him to just drop
"What happened?" He asked not wanting it to drop
"It was the summer before we started our senior year. He went out with a bunch of his friends and came back home hammered. I was sitting on the couch watching TV and be stumbled in upset about something. He wanted me to join him in bed and I refused. He picked me up over his shoulder and dropped me on the bed. I kicked him and be slapped me in return. I pushed him out of the room and locked myself in there. He sobered up and apologized. He never hit me again because I had pictures of the bruising and the cut he left." I told him as anger filled his eyes
"That son of a bitch." He said as his left hand started to turn white as he gripped the steering wheel
"Will, its fine." I said trying to get him to understand
"I will never hurt you JJ." He said looking deep into my eyes
"I know." I said grabbing ahold of his face and giving him a deep kiss
"Why dont we go home, relax a little and go out to Roscos tonight." I said as he got back on the road
"Whats Roscos?" He asked
"You will see." I smiled knowing it would bother him until we got there tonight
