Chapter 34

"Do you really have to go?" Will asked as he watched me pack my suitcase
"I dont want to be I have to." I said sadly not wanting to leave him
"You just got here. I cant believe its already Sunday." He whined and got up and wrapped his arms around me
"I know it was fun when it lasted." I said turning around in his arms
"Its my turn next." He said giving me a deep kiss
"What do you want to do?" I asked wanting to plan when he came
"You." He said falling on the bed and pulling me on top of him
"That can be arranged." I said laughing and he kissed me
"Your phone is ringing darlin." He said pulling away
"Agent Jareau." I said as a panicked person spoke on the other side
"Sir calm down. We can set up a meeting tomorrow at eleven in my office." I said calming him as he said good bye
"A detective wanting to have the team come out?" He asked once I hung up
"No another detective Im dating." I said serious
"Well I guess I have some competition." He said with a smirk
"You my love will never have competition." I said pulling him into a kiss

Our normal goodbyes were said and I boarded the plane to go back home.
I get back to my apartment and receive a call from Hotch.
"Agent Jareau." I said answering
"Jason left. Meet me at the office." Was all he said before hanging up
I set my stuff down and re evaluated my outfit. Jeans and a v neck should be alright. I thought grabbing my keys and purse and leaving.

"So what do you mean he left?" I asked sitting in Hotchs office
"His badge and gun were left on my desk." He said holding up Gideons badge
"What are we going to do?" I asked as my phone started ringing seeing it was Will
"Strauss is looking for a replacement. You can answer that." He said nodding at my phone
"Its no one important." I said letting it go to voice mail
"JJ go home call him back we can talk about this tomorrow morning." He said with a grin
"Go home and see your family sir." I said with a smile and leaving

"Hey darlin." Will said as soon as he picked up
"Hey babe." I said with a sigh as I put my stuff on my counter and got a pan out
"Whats up?" He asked as I got the cheese, bread and butter out
"Just work stuff." I said turning my stove on
"Enough to make you start cooking a grilled cheese at nine at night." He said with a small chuckle
"I hate how you know me so well." I smiled missing him already
"No, you love it." He said as I could tell he was smiling
"Gideon left." I said putting my finished sandwich on a plate
"The older guy?" He asked only having met the team once
"Ya him." I said taking a bite
"So now yall are down a member." He said as I just grunted as a yes
"Hotch has been wanting me to become a profiler." I said walking to my room
"Do it babe." He said full of encouragement
"I like where Im at. I like being the fo between with the families and detectives." I said changing into his shirt
"I do too. I mean thats how I met you. But this seems like a great opportunity." He said knowing all the right things to say
"Its more work and besides I already kindof profile." I said snuggling into bed smelling what ever cologne was left by Will
"So you just happened to pick my case?" He asked making me laugh a little
"That and the accent was a super turn on." I said before yawning
"Thats what they all say. Go to bed cher. I will talk to you tomorrow. I love you." He said
"I love you too." I said be fore hanging up

Two Months later
I was sitting on the plane going back home for Thanksgiving wishing I was going down south to see my favorite southern man.
"Aunty JJ!" A loud squeal came for behind me as Holly ran for a hug as I waited for my luggage
"My favorite little one." I said hugging her back and picking her up
"Daddys behind me." She said as I looked up and saw Nate with a girl holding his hand
"Thats his girlfriend Katie." Holly whispered in my ear and I nodded picking up on that
"Aunty Shelbs is at home." She said with a huge smile
"Theres my baby sister." Nate said giving me a hug
"Im not a baby." I said pulling away and putting Holly down
"Jenn this is Katie." Nate said awkwardly introducing us
"Hi." I said shaking her hand
"She carries a gun." Holly said giggling as she pulled my hand to get my suitcase from the carousal

We finally get home after that awkward car ride home.
"Im sorry about her." I said walking up to the house with Katie
"Its fine. She loves you." She said reassuring me
"Mom wants you to take Holly to get icecream." Shelby said without looking up from the couch
"Nice to see you too." I said sarcastically as I walked to the kitchen seeing my mom doing a crossword puzzle and drinking tea
"Hey." She said seeing me and giving me a hug
"I need you to take Holly for icecream." She said returning to the puzzle
"Why?" I asked
"Come on JJ." Holly said pulling at my hand as I grabbed my moms keys and left with her

"So Holly what do you think of Katie?" I asked as we ate icecream in the shop watching the snow fall
"I like her. Shes nice." She said smiling before taking a big bite
"I wish she was my mommy." She said looking outside
"Why is that?" I asked surprised she would say something like that
"I never met mine and she acts like a mommy to me." She said with more excitement
"Aw I see." I said understanding
"Why are you in here eating icecream?" The deep voice I learned to hate said
"Hunter leave me and my niece alone please." I said without turning around
"Come on Hunter lets go. Just drop it." Rachel said sounding like she was carrying something heavy which made me turn around
"Oh wow. You finally popped." I said sarcastically
"Thanks." She said rolling her eye and pulling Hunter out
"I dont like him." Holly said rolling her eyes
"Me either." I said agreeing with her

We go back home and Holly runs in before me.
"Something smells good." I said stopping at the front door and taking my boots, jacket, and scarf off
"Mom?" I asked walking in to the kitchen seeing no one
"I hope it smells good cause its your favorite." A smooth southern voice said behind me
"Will!" I almost yelled and jumped into his arms hugging him like a koala
"I missed ya darlin." He said before giving me a passionate kiss
