What We Kept Secret

Chapter 9

We get to a place called "Gatorland" and the first thing I could think of was that he was going to kill me.
I got out of the car and followed him out to the dock where he was talking to an older man
"Reggie this is JJ. JJ this is Reggie our guide for the day. " he said smiling
"Guide for what?" I asked still confused
"Air boating." He said pointing over to the a raft with a fan on the back of it
"It will be fun. And I got a shot gun for Will and I to protect you from any gators we see." He said with an even thicker accent than Will
"I think she can handle herself." Will said laughing as he helped guide me to the boat and helped me get in
"I figured this would be the best way to show you the swamps and the safest." He said kissing me on my cheek.
The whole tour I was able to see parts of the swamp I ever thought possible and as well as gators getting to close for comfort. Will and I walked hand and hand back to his truck.
"So for a late lunch what do you think about some thing out of a truck?" He asked before pilling away
We pulled up to this broken down truck that had vine growing over it.
"Sweet Sue!" Will yelled and whistled
An old lady came climbing out of the back with a dirty apron on
"William is that you?" She asked walking over to us
"Why yes it is and I brought a friend." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me over
"Tony your brother brought a girl to meet me." She yelled as a man appeared holding cages of what looked like mini lobsters
"Well I'll be damned." He said dropping the cages and following after her
"Aunt Sue this is Jennifer." He said as I put my hand out to shake but she immediately pulled me into a hug
"She aint from around here is she." The guy I took as Tony said
"Nah shes not." He said smiling at me
"Well shes a yankee. I know that for sure." Sue said looking me up and down and for some reason it was making me uncomfortable
"Well she is beautiful." She said putting her arm around me and leading me behind the truck to see lights hung up above all the tables making it romantic
"Im Wills daddys sister." She said as she sat in front of me
"Im not sure what I am to Will." I said really unsure what we were
"Well I do know you are somethin special to that boy. He doesnt bring many girls down here. Hell he doesnt bring any girls thats for sure." She said smiling
"How did yall meet?" She asked me
"I helped close his fathers case. Im the media lesion for the FBI." I said not really wanting to get into the topic of my job
"Awww. I thought I heard him blabbering about a girl he recently met." She said warming up my heart
"Hey Sue the bus is here." Tong yelled as I saw Will walking over to me
"Yall wait here. Will come grab some fresh crawdad before the tourist." Sue said as Will turned around and grabbed two buckets
"You will love these. She still uses my daddys recipe." He said with the smile Im falling in love with
He placed a bucket full of the tiny lobsters and and empty bucket and starting eating one. I watched how he did before I started
"Like this Will?" I questioned him as I held it still shelled over my mouth
"Hold up." He said taking a picture of it
"My girl is beautiful." He said cracking open a few for me to eat.
"Who said I was your girl?" I asked showing a smile
"The minute you decided to come be with me for a week." He said winking as we started to eat
