What We Kept Secret

Chapter 32

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he pulled away
"I came to celebrate your birthday." I said giving him another kiss
"Well I see that now. Lets get out of here and go home." He said grabbing my suitcase
"So what are the plans tonight?" I asked getting in his truck
"Whelk Charlie and his fiancé wanted to go out and so did a few guys and Tony." He said still with the biggest smile I have ever seen on him
"Sounds like a perfect plan." I said reaching over and grabbing his hand

"So JJ you worked with Will before?"  Claire Charlies fiancé asked
"Ya. About I think five months ago." I said smiling
"So you know Charlie?" She asked as we both smiled at the guys as they got us more beer
"Briefly. He mainly worked with the other part of the team." I said only remembering bits and pieces of working with him
"Its my future sister in laws!" Tony yelled almost tackling me and than Claire
"Hows it going Tony?" I laughed at the oldest LaMontange
"Pretty good. Sweet Sue has been busy this season so Ive been pretty much living at the truck." He said sitting down in the middle of us
"Tony. I didnt know you were coming up." Will said getting back and passing me my beer
"Ya drove up just for you. Your thirty now welcome to the club." He said laughing and going to get himself his own beer

A couple hours later we found ourselves on the dance floor heavily drunk
"Lets go home." He slurred in my ear from behind me as I drunkenly giggled and nodded
"Get a room." We heard Charlie yell as we made out on our way out
"We cant drive." I said pulling away just to be pushed up against the wall
"I know we didnt drive here remember." He laughed kissing me deeply
"Lets go home." I mumbled into his lips and we stumbled back to his place.

I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and Will still passed out next to me as blurs from last night replayed in my head. Our clothes scattered around the room and the amazing time we spent wrapped up in the sheets.

I got out and slipped on Wills shirt and some underwear to make breakfast and surprise Will.
"Hey buddy." I said putting Ranger as I walked passed him on the couch thankful I got over my fear of him.
I was almost done with breakfast when a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts of last night

I opened the door slowly holding Ranger back so he wouldnt run out the door.
"Oh. Hi." A girl around my age said as soon as she saw me
"Hi, who are you?" I asked skeptically still just peaking out
"Debbie. And you?" She asked almost pushing her way into Wills apartment.

Short chapter but I wanted to add some drama for this weekend!
