189: Red With Passion

Yui Rio x Miyuji Shan:

Miyuji began to play a couple of chords on her electric guitar, testing out the amp. She wanted to make sure it worked properly and wasn't too loud or sounded terrible. Once she was satisfied, she began to play a song. She became lost in the music, oblivious to the person entering the room. That person was Yui Rio, the evil redhead who pretended to be just like the social butterflies. As the song ended, Miyuji heard a loud applause. She looked up, surprised to see Yui applauding her.
"Thank you." Miyuji smiled at her, taking a fake bow. Yui laughed as she walked over to the equipment. She saw down at the drum kit and began to play a beat. She had learnt to play when she was younger, but nobody else knew. Miyuji smiled at her, beginning to make up a melody on her electric guitar to go with the beat. They continued playing for a solid 10 minutes until they simultaneously stopped.
"That sounded pretty good." Yui smirked as she set down her drumsticks. Miyuji nodded her head as she put down her electric guitar.
"We should start a band." Miyuji suggested. Yui jumped up, excited by the idea. Miyuji laughed a little, seeing Yui's reaction.
"We should." She insisted as Miyuji nodded her head in agreement. "We should name it 'Red With Passion' and enter it in the battle of the bands competition." Miyuji had wanted to enter for years, but had never had a band and the competition wouldn't allow a soloist.
"All we need now is someone on the keyboard..."

Over the next few months, Miyuji and Yui spent more time rehearsing. Yui had convinced her cousin Mari, aka Info-chan to play keyboard for the band. Miyuji and Yui had come closer, even beginning to develop feelings for each other.

They stood backstage waiting for the band currently on stage to finish their song. They weren't watching the band, focusing on their own warmup.
"And now, here's Yui, Miyuji and Mari in the band Red With Passion." The announcer called out, making the audience erupt into loud cheers. The group looked at each other as they headed to the stage.
"Break a leg, guys." Miyuji smirked. She gave Yui a kiss on the lips before heading on to the stage. The redhead was forced to push it to the back of her mind as she and Info-chan headed on to the stage.

Miyuji, Yui and Info-chan stood on the stage together with the other bands, waiting for the results to be announced.
"Why did you kiss me earlier?" Yui shouted to Miyuji, making sure she could be heard over the loud music. The light music club president smiled at her, blushing slightly.
"I love you, Yui." Miyuji shouted back, making Yui blush. They would've spoke more, but they were interrupted by the announcer.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this years Buraza Town Battle of the Bands is..." the announcer paused to create anticipation. The girls didn't mind too much if they lost, because they had each other. "Red With Passion!" The crowd went wild as their name was called. Yui and Miyuji looked at each other with a smile as they and Info-chan went to collect their prize. Yui looked over at Miyuji, giving her a quick kiss on the lips just after they'd both been given their prizes. She blushed as the crowd went crazy for them. That evening, they became an official couple.
