220: Black And Blue

Bullied! Oka Ruto x Badass! Shin Higaku:

Shin looked up from his book and saw Oka entering the club room. She had her arms wrapped around her shaky body as tears leaked out of her bruised eyes. Several more bruises covered her pale, fragile body from the students who bullied her every day. It had started with some students calling her weird and a freak, but it had escalated into them beating her up on a daily basis. He stood up and hugged her, allowing her to cry on to his uniform.
"Why do they keep bullying me?" She asked, her voice trembling as she cried. He held her, gently running his hand through her messy dark hair. He could feel patches of it missing from where her bullies had pulled it out. "Why do they hate me? Did I do something to make them hate me?" He made a small sigh, wishing he had an answer for her. He didn't. All he could do was comfort her as she cried.

The next day, Oka was walking alone down an empty corridor. Her arms were wrapped tightly around herself, and her body shook very lightly. She hoped she wouldn't encounter anyone who bullied her, but she did anyway. She was confronted by 2 students, Yui Rio and Osana Najimi.
"Oh, look. It's the school freak!" Osana laughed, pointing at Oka. She and Yui laughed as she looked up at them. They walked closer to her, and she hesitantly kept stepping away from them. They caught her, grabbing both of her arms and harshly forcing them away from her torso.
"What's wrong?" Yui snapped mockingly, seeing the small tears forming in Oka's eyes. They dragged her further down the corridor to a secluded area by the bathrooms. A single tear leaked down from her eye as they shoved her to the floor. "Crybaby." Yui mocked, punching her on the cheek when she saw the tear on it. She cried out in pain, making Yui and Osana laugh.
"You deserve everything bad that happens to you, witch." Osana told her coldly, kicking her in the stomach. Yui grabbed Oka's hair and yanked it hard, making a couple of small clumps fall out. She slammed Oka's face against the wall, laughing as she cried out in pain. They didn't notice the small splatter of blood from Oka's mouth on the wall.
"You're such a weird freak. Why don't you end your pitiful existence?" Yui demanded angrily as Osana kicked her in the back and grabbed the back of her hair, harshly pulling more of it out. She and Yui continued to laugh and verbally bully Oka as they continued their violent attack on her.

Shin walked down that same corridor when he could hear the faint sounds of sobs. He began to search around for the source of the sound, genuinely concerned for whoever it was. His heart broke when he found Oka. She was curled up on the floor crying. A small pool of blood had began to form on the floor by her slightly open mouth, and she was surrounded by clumps of her bluish hair.
"Oka..." he said softly to her, sitting down beside her and lightly touching her hair. She looked up at him, and he could tell she was in agony. She was more fragile than most students, so bruises hurt more for her than others.
"Help... Shin..." she begged quietly, struggling to talk from the pain. He nodded his head, gently placing a light kiss on her forehead before standing up. He picked her up as gently as he could, feeling awful when she would whimper in pain. They both knew he didn't mean it. He gently carried her to the nurse's office, comforting her with every step.

"Why haven't you killed yourself yet you useless baby?" Yui demanded, kicking Oka harshly in the face. It was a few days later, and Yui and Osana were bullying Oka again. The smaller girl shook with fear as Osana kicked her stomach. Shin was nearby, and he could hear the sound of Yui's voice. He looked over, and saw Yui and Osana stood over Oka. He'd never seen either of them bullying her before, he would've made them stop otherwise. He became furious when he saw Yui and Osana punching and kicking her as she curled up into a ball on the floor and cried.
"Stop it!" He demanded as he stormed over to them. Yui and Osana turned to look at him, and laughed. To them he was just another member of the occult club, or the freak club as they had nicknamed it.
"Or what?" Osana laughed. Yui forced Oka on to her stomach and stood one of her feet on her back. Shin was angered by their actions. He balled his hand into a fist and stepped forward, punching Osana. He wasn't a violent person, but he would do anything to protect Oka. She cried out, looking at Yui. The redhead smirked back at her. She grabbed Oka's head and slammed her face into the floor harshly, laughing as she did.
"Leave her alone!" He demanded, turning his attention to Yui. He stormed over, grabbing her by her red hair and shoving her forcefully to the floor away from Oka. He stood protectively in front of her before Yui or Osana could try to hurt her again. He smirked a little at them before he began to beat them up, warning them to stay far away from Oka as he did.

"Thank you for sticking up for me." She murmured, looking up at him. They were sat in the nurse's office again, and the nurse had gone to get something so it was just the 2 of them in the room. He laughed a little, standing up and holding one of her bruised hand gently.
"I would do anything to protect you, Oka." He told her gently. She sniffled a little and looked up at him. He gently took hold of her other hand, looking into her eyes. "I love you, Oka. I'll always protect you and stay by your side for the rest of your life. I promise I won't let any more harm come to you." He promised. She immediately believed him. He let her hands go and wrapped them gently around her bruised body, pulling her closer and gently kissing her. She ignored the pain in her body for a moment and kissed him back. It was like she wasn't in pain in that moment. They broke the kiss, blushing heavily. He sat down beside her, and she snuggled against him as they waited for the nurse.
