211: Wounded

Ayano Aishi x Muja Kina:

"Morning Muja." Ayano smiled brightly as she entered the nurse's office, closing the door behind her. The pink haired girl turned to look at Ayano, also smiling. She was probably the only person to ever see a genuine smile on Ayano's face.
"Good morning Ayano. Pleasure to see you here this morning." Muja smiled, walking over to her. They embraced gently, kissing each other. They had been dating since Muja transferred to the school as a trainee nurse, even though she was only a year above Ayano. They had to keep their relationship, knowing the school board would never approve of their relationship secret and would probably kick Muja out of her training course.
"You're doing good, right?" Ayano asked, breaking out of the hug with a smile. Muja giggled as she let go, pushing a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.
"I'm doing really good today, thank you Ayano. I hope you're having a good day." She giggled brightly as she sat back down at the office chair. Ayano stood beside it, lightly running her hand through her girlfriend's pink hair.
"I'm having a really good day now I've seen you, beautiful." The dark haired girl smiled happily to her. She would've stayed longer, but the school warning bell sounded, meaning Ayano had to go to class. "I'll see you later, baby." She smiled a little sadly, giving Muja a quick kiss on the forehead before heading out to class. Muja blushed a little, nearly falling out of her chair as she watched Ayano leave.

By the time she'd left the office and reached the second floor for class, the corridors were empty. Everyone else had already gone to class. Everyone, except for one girl known as Nemesis by the other students. Ayano hadn't seen her around at all, but knew about the reputation she had. She was a mute, and often came across as creepy. She had short dark hair, her fringe covering one of her deep red eyes which stood out against her pale skin. She was eerily walking towards Ayano. In one of her gloved hands was a sharp knife. Ayano froze a little, stepping back and refusing to take her eyes away from her. She was getting closer every second. Before Ayano could try and run, Nemesis stabbed her in the side. She stumbled away, clutching her stab wound to hopefully stem the bleeding. Nemesis didn't try to stab her again, instead walking away to dispose of any evidence incase Ayano died.

The raven haired girl stumbled to the nurse's office, suppressing her tears in pain. She pushed open the door, collapsing to the floor as it opened. Muja looked over and gasped.
"Ayano?" She gasped in shock, picking her up and putting her on the bed. She began to panic as she tried searching for bandages to patch up the wounds. She believed it would be fine if she bandages it up and kissed it all better. "You'll be fine, babe. You'll be fine. I'll look after you, and everything will be fine." She said a little too quickly as she began to bind it with the bandages she'd found. Ayano shook her head a little, knowing she wouldn't be alive for much longer.
"Muja... I love you... I love you so much... don't forget that..." Ayano smiled weakly as she grabbed hold of Muja's hand. The pink haired girl looked at her, seeing tears in her charcoal grey eyes. Muja held her hand tightly, feeling Ayano's grip weaken.
"I love you Ayano." She could see Ayano was dying. She felt like such a failure to be unable to save Ayano. She let out a small sigh as she closed her eyes for the final time, allowing a tear to fall. Muja wiped it away, kissing her gently on the forehead before letting her hand go and leaving the room to report Ayano's murder to the head teacher. That day, Muja abandoned her dream of being a nurse.
