Today is my birthday, so here's a gift from me to you. A one shot. Enjoy :)
Cupa Kurosagi:
Cupa woke up, looking around her bedroom. Today wasn't like any usual day, today was her birthday. She didn't expect too much, though. Her aunt and uncle would want her to do something with them so they could show off, but she'd already made some plans with her friends. That would've been better than being used as a trophy on her birthday regardless of what her friends had planned. Even if they had no plans except sitting on the sofa watching the TV. At least then she would be around people who genuinely loved her. She got out of the bed, getting dressed and leaving the house before her aunt woke up and demanded she spend the whole day with her.
She went to the park, spending the morning by herself. Nobody would be awake yet, but she didn't blame them. It was a Saturday after all. She had been to McDonald's for breakfast. She rarely had it, but it was one of her favourite foods. She had pancakes and flat sausage with a hash brown and syrup. It was great food. She was happy, content even, as she sat in the empty park pushing herself back and forth on one of the swings.
That night, she received a text from one of her closest friends Info-chan saying to go to a specific location. It was seemingly in the middle of the forest. She didn't think much of it as she went there, wearing a pale pink dress and black converse. She'd been told to dress nice in the message, and she did. When she found the spot, she was in shock. The whole area had been decorated, trees were lit up with fairy lights to provide light as the sun set. One thing about trees, they're not very good for hiding behind. All her friends, which was pretty much every student in the school, came out from their hiding spots to wish her a happy birthday. She was in shock. Her friends had pretty much planned the birthday party she'd always wanted to have without her even knowing about it. She wanted to hug everyone and thank them all for the party.
That night was the best Cupa had ever had. She still couldn't believe her friends had gone to all this effort just for her. They were all happy to see her happy after everything she had done for them since they met her. It varied from simple favours to being a shoulder to cry on. She would do anything to help anyone, and they thought they could at least repay her with an epic birthday party. She lay on her bed that night scrolling through her pictures on her phone from that night. She was so lucky to have so many people who loved and supported her.
Thank you so much for all the support with the one shots and everything else. It means so much to me.
