234: This Doesn't Happen To Ordinary Girls

Ayato waited under the cherry blossom tree for someone. He had asked a girl to meet him here so he could confess his feelings for her. He was pacing anxiously, waiting for her. He looked out, seeing a blonde girl running over to him. He felt his heart skip a beat, this was her.
"Hello Yuna." He said to her once she was with him under the tree. She looked up at him, smiling even though her eyes showed some confusion. She had only spoken to Ayato once or twice, they weren't at all close.
"Hey... um... why did you ask me to meet you here?" She asked, the confusion more obvious. He was one of the last people she expected to see here, but she would at least hear him out. He was blushing a little as he looked into her yellow eyes.
"I know this might sound crazy, but I have feelings for you. I love you." He told her, gently taking hold of her hands. She didn't know what to say. She barely knew him, and he seemingly knew very little about her. She pulled her hands out hesitantly, sighing a little.
"I'm sorry. I don't know you all that well. I'd like to get to know you more before I begin a relationship with you." She explained, not looking away from him. He made a small sigh, taking something out of his pocket and holding it behind his back. She hadn't seen what it was.
"Well, then. Let's do that. Let's get to know each other more." He said, taking a firm hold of her hand before she could leave. She couldn't react before she was injected with a tranquillised, and she slipped into unconsciousness. He smirked a little as he picked her up and carried her away from the tree and to his house.

Her vision was groggy when she finally woke up. She looked around, finding herself in a dark, unfamiliar room. It took a minute for her to figure out that she was tied to a chair. She screamed for help, scared and confused. The last thing she remembered was talking to Ayato, but she didn't think he was capable of this. She looked over as the door opened. She could only see a silhouette of her kidnapper, but could kinda tell it was Ayato.
"I'm glad you're awake, Yuna." He said emotionlessly as he turned on the light. She was temporarily blinded by it, and by the time she could see again, Ayato was stood in front of her. Their faces were inches apart.
"What is going on, Ayato?" She asked, the fear evident in her voice. He smirked for a second, placing his hand on her cheek. She was frozen, looking up into his grey emotionless eyes. She would've pushed his hand away if both of hers weren't tied to the chair.
"Your rejection hurt me, Yuna. I love you, and you turned me down. So I had to do this. Nobody can take you away from me now." He told her darkly. She whimpered in fear, she never expected anything like this to happen to her or anyone like her. She was just a normal girl, nobody special. He kissed her on the forehead before continuing. "I know you don't love me now, but you will soon. You don't have a choice. I'll make you love me no matter what."
