Budo Masuta x Nemesis-chan

"Like this?" Nemesis asked, mirroring the position Budo had just shown her. He smiled, watching his latest student training. She always seemed to bring a smile to his face.
"Yeah. Just like that. Good job, you're definitely improving." He said confidently. She smiled sheepishly, something she only did when it was just the two of them. "Come on. Let's head home." He suggested, reaching over to hold her hand. She blushed, holding on to his hand in return. She was still wearing her gloves, which she always did. He often wondered why, but she would never even tell him. Well, not until today. "I'm curious. What's under the gloves?" He asked as though he had never asked before. She sighed and pulled her hand out of his, pulling off her glove. Her hand was burnt and scarred. He was shocked, watching as she put it back on. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." He apologised, feeling really awkward. She sighed softly, holding his hand again.
"It's fine. Let's go home."

The next morning, Nemesis found herself waiting on the rooftop for Budo. He had promised to meet her, and he was running late. Either that, or she was early. She didn't really know. It was probably a mix of both. She sighed, holding a letter in her hand. She planned to give it to Budo today. Her thoughts of confession and a hopefully loved up future were shattered by a voice behind her.
"So. We meet again." She turned around, realising in horror that the person behind her was an assassin, pointing a gun at her. Nemesis was also an assassin, and knew the person behind her all too well. He'd been stalking her for weeks now, and she'd been to avoid him. Now she was alone and defenceless. Before she could say anything, the trigger was pulled. She stumbled back, going over the railing. She was dead before her feet left the ground.

Budo walked up to the school gates, looking around aimlessly, noticing something falling. It only took a second to realise the mysterious falling thing was a person. He ran over, very narrowly missing Nemesis. He dropped to his knees beside her, starting to cry. He didn't need to see the bulletin wound in her head to know she was dead. He noticed an envelope in her hand, but it had gotten bloody and unreadable from the impact of the bullet. He would never know she loved him, and she would never know her feelings would have been returned.
