Yui Rio x Tutor! Mei Mio:

"Your grades are slipping, this is completely unacceptable." The teacher ranted to the uncaring redhead in front of her. Yui looked up, trying to look like she was at least slightly interested in what the teacher had to say.
"I'm sorry." She muttered emotionlessly, looking down at her hands. She tried to sound like she was genuinely sorry, but she just didn't care. The teacher sighed, looking down her nose at her.
"What have you been doing that's so much more important than studying, anyway?"

Flashback:

"Say it! Say it!" Yui demanded, tightly holding a girl's hair and holding her up with it. The girl she was picking on was called Oka Ruto. When she didn't respond, Yui put her head into the toilet for a few seconds, laughing as Oka struggled. "Say it!" She threatened. The smaller girl choked out a sob, unable to speak. Yui forced her head back into the toilet for a few more seconds. "Say it!"
"I-I'm a useless f-freak." Oka sobbed, wanting the torture to end. Yui smirked, yanking her hair then letting it go.
"Yes, you are, and don't you ever forget it." Yui laughed viciously at her victim. She loved bullying the occult club members, especially their leader Oka. All of the club members in her mind were freaks and weirdos who deserved to be bullied. She kicked Oka in the back and shoved her head into the toilet bowl, flushing it before walking away.

End Of Flashback:

"Nothing..." Yui muttered, knowing the teacher would hear her. The teacher made a small sigh in frustration before sitting back at her desk.
"I'm going to assign you a tutor, hopefully then you're grades will go back up." She said firmly as she typed into the computer. She folded her arms and leaned back carelessly. She really didn't care. The tutor would be another student who she didn't care about. She thought she could make them quit after one session. She had a small smirk on her face as she decided she didn't need help. She was going to get rid of all her tutors until the teacher gave up.

The next evening, Yui went to the library and sat down at one of the tables, waiting for her tutor to show up. She sat idly playing with her thumbs until she felt someone tap her shoulder.
"Yui? I have to tutor you" The redhead recognised the girl. She was Mei Mio, the smartest of the group of social butterfly group Yui hung out with before school and at lunch. They were also in the cooking club together. Yui would say she was fairly close friends with Mei. 'Well, there go my plans for getting rid of my tutor'. She thought to herself, her thoughts not showing. Mei sat down beside her with a smile, putting on her glasses.
"You look like a dork in those glasses." Yui laughed when she saw Mei in the glasses. The blue haired girl frowned at her, feeling a little insecure. She didn't like the way she looked with glasses on, often either wearing contacts or going without. Today was one of those 'going without' days, so she needed the glasses to read the notes and help Yui study.
"Hey! I'm really insecure about my glasses. Please don't say that." She whined, taking off the glasses and setting them down on the table. Yui wouldn't normally care, but she liked Mei. Mei was her friend, and she didn't like upsetting her friends. They didn't deserve it.
"I'm sorry... they don't look that bad on you..." she murmured. Mei looked at her in complete confusion. She'd heard every word Yui had said, and was confused. "You actually look like a cute dork..." Yui murmured even quieter, but Mei heard what she had said. She blushed a little, covering it with a textbook.
"Anyway... let's start studying." Mei tried with little success to make it less awkward than it already was. Yui nodded her head, opening a different textbook.

Over the next few months, Mei and Yui studied together every night. Yui's grades quickly became the best in her class. That didn't mean she stopped studying with Mei. She had grown to really enjoy spending the time alone with her, even developing a crush on her. She wanted to confess her feelings, and thought she'd found a way.

"Thank you for helping me study again. Goodnight." Yui smiled as she left Mei's bedroom one night. They often studied at each other's houses, so this wasn't a surprise. Mei sighed a little and went back to her desk to pack up her books. As she picked up the one she and Yui had been using, a small note slid out of it. She picked it up and read it to herself.
Mei.
I don't know how to say this to you, but I really like you. Will you be my girlfriend? Text me your answer.
Yui xxx

The street had turned orange, lit up by the streetlights. It was dark and cold outside as Yui walked home from Mei's house. As she walked, a message flashed up on her phone. She looks at it, and a small smile appeared on her face
Mei: Yes. Xxxxx
