Sho Kunin x Supana Churu:

"I bet I could lift you." Sho told his girlfriend Supana with a smirk. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow, also smirking.
"Oh really? Prove it." She told him with a smirk. He laughed, lying down on the floor of the martial arts club room. He held his arms up so she could lay down on his hands. She did, and he began to lift her as though he was lifting weights. She laughed as he did. "I'm impressed." She told him once he had stopped. He smirked and put her down before standing up himself.
"If I can lift you physically, remember I can always lift your spirits." He told her before kissing her on the lips. She kissed back. She was used to him saying stuff like that ever since he found out about her mild depression. It had been worse at the start of their relationship, but he had gradually helped her.

He was walking back to his class the next day when he heard a scream. He recognised it immediately as Supana's, he sprinted around, eventually finding her. She was running down the corridor towards him, followed by Ayano.
"Supana!" He shouted, running to her. She saw him and sprinted towards him. She had nearly reached him when she screamed and fell down. Sho could see a large knife which had been thrown into her back, but he hadn't seen who had thrown it.
"Sho... help..." she said, pain filling her voice. He fell to the floor, supporting her weight. Tears were falling from her eyes, and her back was in intense pain. He held her, shouting for help. Eventually, a teacher found them. The teacher phone for an ambulance as Supana began to lose consciousness.

The knife had buried itself in her spine. She'd needed surgery to remove it safely. The surgery had been a success, but she'd lost the use of her legs. She would never walk again. She hated being confined to a wheelchair, and had sunk further into depression. Sho had stayed by her side throughout her recovery. She'd been forced to drop out of Akademi, instead being homeschooled.

"Supana?" Sho asked gently, opening her bedroom door. She was sat on her bed, which had been pushed by the window. She made a small sigh as she looked over at him. It was clear she wasn't alright. He sat at the edge of her bed, holding her hand gently.
"Why haven't you left me yet?" She muttered, staring blankly out of the window. He moved closer to her, gently kissing her cheek. She flinched a little, making a tear fall from her eye. She brushed it away gently.
"Because I love you and this won't change that." He told her. She looked at him, clearly disbelieving him. "I want to marry you when we're older, Supana. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't care if that life is pushing you around in your wheelchair, because I love you so much." More tears leaked from her eyes as she reached out to hug him. He hugged back tightly, making sure he didn't hurt her. She made a small sob as she hugged him back. That's exactly what she wanted also.
"I love you too." She told him, her words muffled in his shirt. He kissed her gently on the forehead. She looked up and kissed him on the lips.
"Like I said, if I can lift you physically, remember I can always lift your spirits."
