224: The School Project

Haruto Yuto & Budo Masuta & Kaga Kusha:

The three boys sat at the couple of desks they'd pushed together, staring at the blank sheet of A3 paper in front of them. It was after school, and their project was due in tomorrow. They hadn't even started.
"So... where do we start?" Haruto asked, breaking the awkward silence. None of them knew where to really start on their project.
"You're good at science, Kaga. You got anything?" Budo asked, looking over at the grey haired male at the table. Their project was for their science class, something Kaga excelled at.
"Yeah, but it's on the human body. Something you should know about Budo." Kaga shot back with a small smile. Budo should know, considering he practices martial arts. He didn't have much of a clue, however.
"You've been awfully quiet, Haruto. Do you know anything?" Budo turned to look at the redhead, as did Kaga. Haruto shrugged his shoulders, looking back at them. Out of the three boys, he knew the least about science. Budo sighed, looking back at the blank sheet of paper.
"Look, let's just get on with it." Kaga sighed and stared at both of them. He always got the best grades in the class, and he wasn't about to let Budo or Haruto change that. They looked over at him, surprised with his sudden outburst. "If we don't complete it by 6pm, you're both coming to my house and none of us are sleeping until it's done." He demanded a little angrily. They sighed and agreed with him. They didn't want to fail either.
"Yeah, alright. Let's just get on with it." Budo sighed as he and Haruto began to try and think of something. They still didn't know where to start yet, but they were more determined to start.

"So... how did you do?" Budo asked as he, Haruto and Kaga looked at their scores. They had been posted on the board, and they were now checking them.
"I didn't do so good." Haruto sighed a little as he pointed to his score. His name was near the bottom of the list, as was Kaga's and Budo's.
"Yeah." Kaga had a frown on his face as he saw his own score. He really wasn't happy that he was near the bottom when he would usually be on top for science.
"Oh well. We'll do better next time." Haruto shrugged his shoulders, putting his arms around his friends. Kaga was still frowning and Budo made a small laugh. Haruto began to lead his friends away from their scores and towards the cafeteria so they could hang out together.
