Happy Valentine's Day... or whatever.

Taeko Yamada x Oka Ruto

Oka smiled happily, heading into school. Today was Valentines Day, and she was going to spend the day with her boyfriend. She had been dating Yandere-kun for a few months now. He was often quite distant with her, which was why she wanted to make a good impression on him. She came into the school building and changed her shoes before going to find Yandere-kun.

Eventually she found him, but he wasn't alone. He was flirting with Taeko Yamada. Oka's heart shattered. So that's why he's been so distant, he was with her. She walked away, tears in her eyes. She'd made plans to spend time with him over lunch, so she could confront him then. Hopefully this was all just a big misunderstanding.

Lunch came slowly, and Oka waited up on the roof for Yandere-kun. Hopefully he would be here soon, and hadn't skipped out on her to be with Taeko. That would destroy her. Eventually he came up to see her.
"Hey Oka." He smiled a little and sat down. She looked down, not speaking. "What's wrong?" He asked, putting his arm around her playfully. She looked up at him sadly, clearly he didn't know that she knew about him cheating on her with Taeko.
"You're cheating on me!" She told him. He looked at her, staying silent. He didn't know how to respond to that, mostly because it was the truth. "Don't you love me?" She asked, looking like she was about to cry.
"No, I don't." He told her, crushing her heart. Her eyes widened, tears beginning to fall as he continued. "I never loved you. I knew you had feelings for Taeko, so I seduced you to get rid of my competition. Now, she's falling for me, so I have no use for you." He got up. Oka got up too, tears continuing to spill out of her eyes.
"I'll make sure she never dates you!" Oka shouted spitefully, sprinting away. Yandere-kun made a low growl, removing the small pocket knife from his jacket. He flipped up the sharp blade, smirking.
"I'll just have to silence you then, won't I?"

Oka ran out into the courtyard, straight to Taeko. The bookworm looked up, concerned for the occultist. Oka sat down beside her, sobbing.
"Oka, what's wrong?" Taeko asked gently, putting her arm around her. Oka clung to her, calming herself just enough to talk.
"Ayato... he cheated on me." She sobbed. Taeko's eyes widened, stroking her hair to calm her down. She hadn't been aware that Yandere-kun was in a relationship when he was flirting with her. If she had known she certainly wouldn't have accepted it.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you." She frowned, continuing to comfort her. She felt awful for the small girl beside her. They stayed like that for a while until Oka pulled away.
"I brought these for Ayato, but you can have them." Oka said, handing Taeko a box of chocolates. She smiled softly, taking them.
"Thank you Oka." She pulled her close, giving her a kiss. Oka kissed back, forgetting all about Yandere-kun for that one sweet moment.
