Ritoru Masuta (-HanakoYamada- ) x Hanako Yamada:

"You're not gonna leave me alone today, are you brother?" Ritoru asked nervously, holding on tightly to her big brother's hand. It was her first day at Akademi, and she was nervous. Budo laughed a little as they continue walking to school.
"Of course not." He promised as they arrived. He cared about his sister way too much to just leave her when she needed him. She grinned and held his hand as they walked into the locker room. Since it was her first day she didn't have a locker yet, so Budo let her share his locker. Budo looked over as he heard the voice of Taro's younger sister Hanako. He almost forgot she was starting here today too. Maybe he should get Ritoru and Hanako to talk and spend time together.

He lead Ritoru out to the courtyard, seeing Taro and Hanako day together by the fountain. He wanted to laugh a little when he saw Hanako was just as clingy to Taro as Ritoru was to him.
"Hey Taro." Budo smiled at him as they walked over. Taro looked up from his book and smiled back at the martial arts club leader and his little sister.
"Hey Budo and Ritoru." He said. Hanako looked up, surprised to see her childhood friend Ritoru stood next to Budo. Ritoru let go of her brother's hand and hugged her, glad to feel Hanako hug her back.
"Hey Han." Ritoru smiled as they pulled away from their hug.
"Hey Ri." Hanako giggled a little, making Ritoru giggle too. "Let's go over here." Hanako suggests, grabbing Ritoru's hand and pulling her over to another part of the courtyard. Taro and Budo look at each other, a small smile appearing on both their faces.
"Great idea Budo." Taro said quietly. As much as he loved his little sister, she sometimes got annoying. Budo felt the exact same way. The martial artist just laughed.

It had been a week since Hanako and Ritoru had reconnected, and they had barely spent time apart. They were in the same class sat next to each other, so they could talk. The only time they parted was when Ritoru had to go to her martial arts club activities. Hanako didn't mind too much, but she did get bored when Taro would hang around the fountain and Ritoru was at martial arts club. Their feelings had changed slightly, both wanting more than best friendship but neither of them wanting to make the first move and confess incase they destroyed what they had. They just needed a push from their big brothers.

Ritoru went to her club room on Friday, finding it empty. Instead she found a trail of Sakura petals leading down the corridor. She began to follow it out of curiosity.

It lead her out to the tree by the track that she had come to learn was a confession tree. Following an identical path on the other side was Hanako. Both girls blushed as their eyes met. An awkward silence fell, neither girl knowing what to say.
"... I love you!" Ritoru eventually managed to choke out. Hanako blushed even darker, walking closer and hugging her.
"I love you too." She confessed. Ritoru hugged her back, smiling happily. She was so happy her feelings were out and accepted by Hanako.
