Down at Navy Pier that was chairs set up, all pointing towards the lake. Everyone from 51, 21, and Med were in the seats, waiting. The kids were scattered around in chairs, excited. Kelly stood in the front, wearing his tux. Next to him stood Erin, who was officiating.

Everyone turned and looked behind them as a black Camaro pulled up. Kelly felt a smile break out on his face as he saw her pull up. Then a silver car pulled up next to her which was not part of the renewal. He saw his wife's angry face as she climbed out of the car. She had on a skin tight black dress with red heels. She took off her heels setting them on the hood as the driver exited their car. Everyone froze as they looked at the man, Corin's father. Everyone knew this wasn't going to end well. Matt stood up, worried about Corin.

"Get the hell out of here!" yelled Corin, as Kelly started to approach.

"You're my god damn daughter Corin! You never let me meet my grand kids, the least you can do is let me see your vow renewal!"

"You know damn well why you haven't met my kids. You hurt me dad. You punched me and slapped me... So don't act like I'm the devil and your done innocent man. Now get the hell away from me," growled Corin.

Corin was filled with anger and sadness. He shoved her against the car and then punched her in the face. Her father pulled his arm back to strike her again when suddenly he felt a sharp blow to the face. Kelly stood in front of Corin, breathing heavily. Richard lay on the ground, nose bleeding. Matt yanked the man off the ground so he had to look Kelly in the eye.

"Now get in your car and get the hell out of Chicago before it's the last place you ever see," threatened Kelly.

Matt shoved him into his own car and Richard quickly climbed in. He sped away as Kelly turned to check on Corin along with Matt.

"Damn!" huffed Corin, touching her eye.

"Corin are you okay? Are you sure you wanna do the renewal?" asked a concerned Kelly.

"Positive. Now let's do this before my eye turns an ugly shade of purple."

Kelly smiled widely at her before walking back down the aisle. Corin stood next to her Camaro with everyone looking at her. Suddenly she felt an arm intertwine with hers, it was Matt. He smiled at her, causing her to smile back.

"We can walk down together. It'll be our own little fatherless club walk," grinned Matt as he faced her.

"Thank you," was all Corin managed to stay.

"And don't worry, at the after party we'll fix up that eye. Gabby taught me well."

Corin laughed as she began walking down the aisle with Matt. Her eye was killing her but she wasn't gonna let her father stop her from doing this. When they reached the end where Kelly was standing Matt hugged Corin before letting go. As he walked to his sit Corin  held hands with Kelly.

"I've never seen two people in more love than you two. You've raised four kids together and loved each other for 16 years of marriage. Today we are all here to see Kelly and Corin renew the vows they made 16 years ago."

"Corin you are... my everything. You gave me our five amazing children, which I couldn't imagine my life without. Everyday I fall in love with you a little more. You give me this amazing feeling everytime I think about you, and I wouldn't trade that for the world. You're the strongest person I've ever met. You help me, you help our kids, you help friends and family, all while you deal with an emotional battle inside your body. I couldn't imagine my life without you. If I had never saw you in that bar, I wouldn't have the amazing wife and kids I have today. You are my everything Corin, never forget that."

Kelly looked at Corin with the boyish grin he gave her on the night they officially met. Corin wiped away the tears that had slipped down her cheeks, a smile running across her face. She took a deep breathe before she read her vows.

"Kelly, you are the love of my life. I couldn't imagine my life without you. You're an amazing father to our five kids and an outstanding husband, but most of all you saved my life. I was going through a rough time in my life when I met you... and you saved me. You saved me after the loss of our son Jake, when I have my PTSD episodes, and even when you tell me you love me. I didn't actually realize how much you meant to me until two weeks ago... when you were being held at gunpoint. You're life and everyone's were in my hands. The one thing running through my mind was I can't loose him. I just can't. Every day of my life I fall in love with you a little bit more. Kelly Michael Severide, the father of my kids, my savior, my husband, my one true love... I will love you until the day I die."

Corin talked through the tears that were rolling down her cheeks. Kelly had tears in his eyes as he brushed away his wife's tears with his thumb. All he wanted to do was kiss her, but he waited.

"You may kiss your bride," smiled Erin, seeing how passionate they were about each other.

Unable to wait another second, Kelly grabbed Corin and pressed his lips roughly against hers. Everyone cheered and clapped as they kissed. When they finally pulled apart Corin leaned her head on Kelly's shoulder, both of them grinning at their family.

"I love you," whispered Kelly into her ear.

"I love you too," replied Corin.

Holding hands they walked back down the aisle to Corin's Camaro. Kelly opened the passenger door for Corin before climbing in the driver's seat. He drove off, one hand on the steering while and the other clasping Corin's hand.

As they drove off the crowd began to seperate, everyone heading to their own vehicle. Skylar stood next to Carson, his arm wrapped around her waist. They looked around for Connor and Samantha, Carson's parents, because they were all riding together. Finally Carson spotted them and lead Skylar over to them.

"I love the blonde hair on you Skylar," complimented Samantha as they approached each other.

"Thank you Mrs. Rhodes. I never really like my brown/black hair so my mom finally let me change it," smiled Skylar politely.

"Well it looks beautiful," beamed Samantha.

"Are you taking back to your place for the reception?" asked Connor.

"If you don't mind. Uncle Jay is supposed to bring all of us, but I'd much rather ride with you," rambled Skylar, her eyes twinkling.

"Of course! It's no problem. We're all going to the same place. I just gotta find Carly and we'll be off!" replied Connor, scowerring around for his daughter.

"I'll go find her and I'll meet you guys at the car!" offered Skylar, receiving a nod in response.

She bounded off looking around for Carly. Finally she spotted her talking with Katie near the aisle. She walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

"We've been waiting like forever for you Carly! Let's go!" teased Skylar, getting a laugh from both girls.

"I'm coming!", replied Carly before turning back to Katie, "I'll talk to you at the reception."

Katie waved goodbye as Skylar and Carly walked off towards the car. Skylar had on a pretty, knee length red dress while Carly wore a short pink dress.

"So how's things with Carson?" teasingly grinned Carly as they walked.

"Fine. Our parents both approved of the other so it's good. I really like him," smiled Skylar.

"I'm happy for your two dorks."

"Thanks. Hey uh how's Katie doing? I know she's been down about... Sean lately. I'm worried about her."

"She said she was tired. I feel so bad for her. It's like she's fallen into a depression. What hits me the hardest is that Kim and Adam are so wrapped up in Juliana's drama, they don't even notice."

A silence fell over the two of them as the climbed into the car. Thoughts ran through Skylar's head like Niagra Falls. Suddenly every bad thing that had ever happened to her came rushing back, her rape, her drug addiction, her many injuries, the kidnapping... everything. Skylar let out a sigh before leaning her head on Carson's shoulder once again. Her eye lids fluttered shut as she floated off into her thoughts.
