Juliana had been in labor for 28 hours and now more then ever, she wanted her little boy to be born. Kim had left to call people along with Katie, leaving Juliana and Adam alone.

"Dad, I'm scared. I think I made a mistake, I shouldn't have thought I could raise a child by myself. What if I hate him?" panicked Juliana, breathing through her contraction.

"When you were born, I looked into your eyes and immediately fell in love. And you're not alone! You're far from it! You have my and your mom, Katie, your brothers, and everyone at the district. You're gonna be a great mom, I don't doubt that for a second," smiled Adam, giving Juliana's hand a light squeeze.

The doctor, Natalie, walked into the room just as Juliana had another contraction. Natalie marked a few things on the chart before looking up at Juliana with a smile.

"Alright, you're completely dialated. It's time for you to meet your little boy," informed Natalie with grin.

"Okay," breathed Juliana with a smile.

"I can allow you to have one other person in there besides the father. Even if he isn't present," explained Natalie.

"Uh ok, I want my dad in there with me," stated Juliana before looking up at Adam.

"Okay, I'm gonna take you two down to the delivery room then," stated Natalie, beginning to push Juliana's hospital bed.

Kim waved her daughter off along with Adam before heading to the waiting room. That's when she saw it, Justin was sitting there with his little girl on his lap. He looked up and locked eyes with her, an apologetic look on his face. All Kim could think to do was walk up to him and find out why he's here.

A few miles away Skylar and Carson were just waking up. Corin had trusted them to have their first sleepover in her room. Usually when it happened they'd sleep on the couch, but this time was different.

Skylar woke up with her head on Carson's chest and his arm wrapped around her waist. She could hear his heart beating inside his chest, which soothed her. Carson lazily played with her hair, niether of them wanting to get up. Their peacefulness was broken by the sound of Skylar's phone ringing. She groaned before answering it.

"Hey Katie. What's up?" asked Skylar as Carson drew patterns on her back.

"Juliana is having the baby!" cheered Katie at a high volume.

"What!? Like right now?" questioned Skylar, now wide awake.

"Yes. They just took her into the delivery room. I knew she'd want me to call you."

"Wow! Yeah, thanks for letting me know. Carson and I are in our way!"

"Ooh. You and Carson?" teased Katie.

"I'll tell you all about it when I get there. I'll see you soon," chuckled Skylar.

"Okay! Bye!"

Skylar hung up and tossed her phone on the bed, "We gotta get changed and get to the hospital."

"Why? What's going on?" asked Carson lounging against the headboard, shirtless.

"Juliana's having the baby," stated Skylar as she changed out of her pajamas.

"Oh wow! Okay I'll change so we can head over," smiled Carson as he got out of bed.

In 10 minutes the two of them were ready to go. Skylar called up to her mom, letting her know they were leaving. Carson drove the two of them there, smiling the entire time.

"What's got you so smiley?" asked Skylar, wearing a grin of her own.

"I'm just thinking... how it's nice to wake up to you. I could do it for the rest of my life," admitted Skylar.

"Me too," grinned Skylar as they intertwined their fingers, "Of course it's only because you look really good shirtless."

Carson laughed as Skylar smirked at him. Just then they pulled up to Chicago Med. They strolled inside, holding hands. Skylar walked in to see Justin and Kim argueing with each other in the waiting room. Katie was no where to be seen.

"I'm gonna go see what's going on. You wanna go get us some coffee from the lounge?" suggested Skylar with a smile.

Carson nodded with a grin and kissed Skylar on cheek, before walking away. Skylar sighed and head over to the where the argument was happening.

"I know he is, but this is my grandchild!," argued Justin, switching Dylan from one side to the other.

"What are you two argueing about?" loudly asked Skylar before turning her attention to Dylan, "Hey sweetie! Come here."

Dylan leaned forward, letting Skylar hold her. She played with Skylar's hair while Skylar stood there, waiting for a response from the bickering adults. She may be 15, but she always acts like an adult.

"Kim wants me to leave. I said I wanted to meet my grandson," explained Justin before turning back to Kim, "Look, I know my son is an ass. I was the same way when I was his age. I can't force him to act like a father to his child, but that doesn't mean I don't care about this baby. I wanna be apart of his life."

"You're right your son is an ass," stated Kim with a chuckle, "But I shouldn't punish you before that I guess. I'm okay with you being in his life if Juliana is."

"Thank you," smiled Justin.

Skylar was making faces at Dylan, no longer listening. Justin and Kim chuckled at the sight before sitting down. Skylar sat down a chair away from Justin just as Carson came back. He sat down between the two of them before handing Skylar her coffee.

"Thanks baby," stated Skylar, pecking him on the lips.

"Anything for my girl," replied Carson before he started making funny faces at Dylan.

Dylan giggled and clapped her hands. Carson laughed and draped his arm across Skylar's shoulders. She leaned into him a bit, Dylan playing with her hair. Carson loved watching Skylar with kids, she always looked so happy when she was with them.

"You okay?" asked Skylar, glancing up at Carson for a moment, noticing he was staring.

"Yeah. Perfect," smiled Carson, "I can't wait for us to have put own kids one day."

"Me too."

Suddenly Adam came down the hallway with Katie at his side. They all stood up, waiting to hear how it went. Dylan continued to play with Skylar's hair, content.

"He's here! All 8 pounds of him!" announced Adam, filled with joy.

"How's Juliana?" asked Kim, tears of joy filling her eyes.

"Good. She's sitting with him now. Kim, there's no words to describe how happy she is," explained Adam.

"She said you guys could come down to see him if you want," informed Katie, leading everyone down to Juliana's room.

When Skylar walked in the door she saw a smiling Juliana. Everyone walked into the room, greeting Juliana. Dylan wiggled in Skylar's arms, looking at the baby.

"Baby!" cried Dylan, pointing at him.

"Yeah that's a baby," chuckled Justin, poking her belly.

"So what's his name?" asked Skylar.

"Everyone, meet Jayden Alexander Ruzek-Voight," introduced Juliana with a huge grin on her face.

"He's beautiful," complimented Carson.

"Boys with two last names, they're double trouble," teased Justin, receiving a smile from Juliana.

"You know what they say about kids in Chicago, they're young and reckless," said Adam with a smirk.

"We're gonna have this one day, right?" asked Skylar in a quiet voice so only Carson could hear her.

"Right."

Miles away Nick was sitting on his bed, playing with Luna. Emiliana was making breakfast for them, leaving just the two of them. Nick sat Luna on his lap, letting her lay in the crook of his arm. He glanced up at the picture of Eva on his dresser before looking back down at his daughter.

"I think we're gonna be just fine baby girl."
