Katie woke up, her blonde hair a tangled mess. Her alarm clock was going off, signalling to her that she needed to get up for school. She groaned as she realized it was Saturday. Unable to fall back asleep Katie got dressed, brushed her hair, and slipped her locket from Sean around her neck. She loved being able to open it and see the picture of herself with her dad.

Katie pulled on her shoes before grabbing her purse and leaving. She managed to sneak out of the house without waking anyone. The walk from the Ruzek household to the cemetery was four miles, but Katie didn't care. When she finally got to the cementary she was sweaty and tired. She sat on her knees in front of Sean's headstone, tears running down her face.

"Hi daddy. I miss you so much. I can't believe you're not gonna be there to see my high school graduation or be there to walk me down the aisle at my wedding. I wish you were still here so I could just be with you. I love mom, but her and Adam are always preoccupied with Juliana being pregnant. It's like I'm invisible, dad and I can't live like that," admitted Katie, tears streaming down her face.

She looked up from the headstone to see Andrius heading towards her, his car parked on the side of the road. He sat down next to her, placing his hand on top of hers.

"What are you doing her?" asked Katie as she tried to wipe away her tears.

"Your mom called saying you weren't home and she didn't know where you went. She asked me if you were at my house and then asked if I knew where you were. I told her I had a pretty good idea where you might be," explained Andrius, seeing Katie crack a smile.

"Hey! Don't act like you have me all figured out Andrius Halstead because you don't," joked Katie.

"I think I do Katie Roman. I mean I was able to find you."

"Yeah you were."

Katie looked down, trying to hold back tears. Andrius just squeezed her hand, letting her know he was here if she needed him. Katie looked at the headstone one last time before standing up, Andrius doing the same.

"Come on. Let me take you home," pleaded Andrius as they headed towards his car.

"Actually can we go back to your house? I'm just not ready to go home yet," questioned Katie.

"Yeah. Of course."

Andrius and Katie climbed in the car before Andrius drove off heading home. Katie stared out the window, memories flooding her brain. Her blonde hair whipped around in the wind, but Katie didn't care. She felt safe right where she was.

A few miles away Skylar was already up and getting dressed. She pulled on one of Carson's hoodies and placed a piece of paper on the counter. Then she walked out the front door, walking down to Navy Pier. When she finally got there she saw Carson sitting with his feet dangling over the edge of a pier. Skylar walked over and plopped down right next to her.

"Hey you," cooed Skylar as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Good morning beautiful" complimented Carson as he intertwined his fingers with hers.

Skylar let her hair slightly blow around in the breeze. Carson scooted back a bit and Skylar moved so she could sit between his legs. She leaned her back against his chest as he wrapped his hands around her waist, there fingers still intertwined. Skylar closed her eyes, feeling at peace. Carson kissed the top of her head, making her grin.

"I love you. You know that?" whispered Carson into her ear.

"I do. And I love you too."

Back at the Severide house, Belle was sitting on the couch watching cartoons. Kelly walked out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and sat down next to her. Belle tried to cuddle up next to him so Kelly lifted his arm, allowing her to snuggle into his side. She pulled her blanket over herself, feeling nice and warm.

"Daddy?" cooed Belle in a tired voice.

"What princess?" responded Kelly as he glanced down at her.

"Is Skye gonna be okay?" asked Belle in her little kid tone.

"Yeah," paused Kelly as he thought about his daughter, "Yeah sweetie. Skye's gonna be okay. Now let's watch some cartoons before we have to leave for Cass's cheerleading competition."

Belle nodded and turned back to her cartoons. Kelly loved having a little girl in the house again. She may not be his by blood, but it's a piece of his wife which makes it a piece of him. Just then, Corin came walking down the stairs, a smile on her face. She kissed Belle on the head before looking at the two of them.

"Not that I want to ruin daddy-daughter time but can I talk to you in th kichen for a minute Kelly?" questioned Corin as she turned he gaze towards Kelly.

"Sure babe," replied Kelly as he stood up, "I'll be right back princess."

Kelly followed Corin into the kitchen where she poured herself a cup of coffee. He leaned against the island, waiting. As Corin spun around to face him her hair swirled around her, distracting Kelly. He got lost in her deep blue eyes as she spoke.

"Babe? You there?" teased Corin as she waved her hand in front of his face.

"Yeah sorry," smiled Kelly as he pulled her close by wrapping his arms around her waist, "I just got lost in your beautiful eyes."

"God why do you have to be so damn hot all the time!" purred Corin as she wrapped her arms around Kelly's neck.

"You know you love it," smirked Kelly as Corin rolled her eyes, "But what did you need to talk to me about?"

"Right. I feel like we've been neglecting are friends and family, and our other kids since Skylar's incident."

"Yeah I know what you mean. Why don't we take the kids out for lunch and ice cream after the cheer thing today? Then we can go out and do something else or come home and do something, whatever we wanna do."

"That sounds amazing," sexily smiled Corin as she moved her face closer to Kelly's, "And then when the kids go to bed we can have a little fun of our own."

Corin had her lips centimeters away from Kelly's when she suddenly pulled back and walked out, swinging her hips. Kelly groaned before grinning and walking out after her. When he entered the living room he saw Corin had taken his spot on the couch. He strolled over and plopped down next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Corin laid her head on his shoulder while she stroked Belle's hair.

"I love you so much baby," smiled Kelly as he kissed Corin right above the ear.

"I love you too babe."
