Skylar's eyes snapped opened as Carson gently shook her awake. She smacked him yelling, "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"
Connor had just pulled into the yard at Kelly's house when the screaming began. Erin and Jay happened to pull up at the same time with the kids. Erin came sprinting over once she heard Skylar's screams. Carson climbed out of the car at Erin's request.
"Skylar! Skylar!" called Erin as she shook her.
Finally, she snapped back into reality. She looked up at her aunt an immediately started bawling. Erin held her, the two of them tumbling out onto the grass. Jay angrily walked towards Carson, picking him up by his collar.
"What the hell did you do to my niece?" growled Jay in a low voice.
"I didn't do anything. She just started freaking out when I tried to wake her up!" rebutted Carson, partially scared.
"Jay put the boy down! It wasn't anything he did!" cried Erin, still holding the sobbing Skylar.
"Please don't say anything to my parents! I don't wanna ruin their day," pleaded Skylar, looking up at Erin.
"No one's gonna say anything sweetie."
Everyone that was outside headed inside for the reception, including Erin and Skylar. Somehow they slipped past everyone and made it upstairs to Skylar's bedroom. Skye pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her blanket around herself. Erin sat on the bed across from her, concerned.
"Skylar, what's wrong? You can talk to me sweetie."
"I just d-didn't say anything at the time so it doesn't matter," shaking replied Skylar.
"Did someone hurt you?"
Skylar nodded her head as more tears began to fall down her face. She buried her face in her knees while Erin sat there, a sympathetic look on her face.
"Sweetheart, you have to tell me what happened. I can help you."
"It's too late! And I didn't want anyone to know! It's embarrassing!"
"It's not your fault it happened. Just tell me what happened and I swear on my life I won't tell anyone."
A silence filled the room as Skylar pondered this. She knew that her aunt would be the best person to talk to about this, but she was scared.
"Ok. It was right when we came back from camp. Carson's parents and mine allowed us to go and spend the day together, watching movies and stuff. After Carson picked up me up, since he got his permit, he got a call from his football coach."
"In summer?" questioned Erin.
"Yeah they work out at the school in the summer as a team usually. But that week coach decided to take them in groups of threes. Carson got picked last minute, so he was just gonna drop me off at home. We talked and I decided I'll just take a nap in the boy's locker room while he works out. I knew the all the guys on the team and most of them were nice guys."
Skylar began to cry again as Erin grasped her hand. She squeezed it once before Skye looked her in the eyes.
"It's okay sweetie. Take your time," advised Erin kindly.
"So I want in the locker room and took a nap. When I woke up the two other football players were moving me whispering Wake up Skylar. When I opened my eyes they started taking off my uh my clothes. Then they took turns... raping me," softly cried Skylar burying herself into her knees.
"I know you don't wanna here this but I do have to ask you a few questions. Just for your health. I need to know where they assualted you, who assualted you, and if they wore condoms."
"They assualted me orally and uh vaginally. I don't know if they wore protection, and their Carson friends..."
"Oh Skylar."
Erin held Skylar to her while she sobbed, finally understanding. Skylar didn't want to say anything for the obvious reason, she loved her boyfriend. What was even worse was school started up again in two days. Erin rocked her and stroked her hair as the two of them sat there.
"I wish you'd tell someone sweetheart. But any time you need to talk or cry or just need someone call me. Okay? I don't have if it's two in the morning, I'll always answer. I love you Skye."
"I love you to Auntie Erin!"
Downstairs everyone was talking and chatting up a storm. Jay stood in the kitchen, drinking a beer. All he could think about was Skylar, she was his first born niece. Jay headed towards the stairs, leaving Matt and Gabby in the kitchen with Brooke.
"Mom why don't you and dad get your wedding vows renewed. I mean you never really had a real wedding," stated Brooke matter of factly.
"We had a real wedding darling," laughed Gabby before taking a sip of her beer.
"No you didn't. Dad told me about your wedding. You just got married in a church in paramedic gear and bunker gear out of the blue. Everyone from 51 showed up and Uncle Antonio," babbled Brooke, crossing her arms.
"Well nothing's amazing without Uncle Antonio!" teased Antonio as he walked into the kitchen, Isabella in his arms, "Looks like you got your mother's sass little girl."
"Hey!" simultaneously replied Gabby and Brooke.
"Where's Eva and Nick?" asked Matt through chuckles.
"Out in the living room. I tried to convince her not to come just because she's two weeks late and about to pop," surrendered Sylvie as she set two 6-packs on the counter.
"Two weeks late? That's gotta be rough," grimanced Gabby.
"She goes in on the 11th to get a c-section if the baby doesn't come by then," informed Antonio.
"Oh that's only two days! She'll make it," waved off Gabby.
Gabby took Isabella from Antonio, making noises at her. Matt was busy making funny face at her to notice Brooke left the kitchen. Then there was a scream from the living room.
"Son of a bitch!" yelled Eva in the living room.
Antonio and Sylvie ran out of the kitchen followed my Matt and Gabby with Isabella. Eva was sitting in a chair, which was completely soaked. Everyone in the living room looked frozen, unsure of what had happened. Nick helped up his very pregnant wife before anyone spoke.
"What the hell is going on?" asked a flustered Antonio.
"My water broke," smiled Eva, which led to Antonio breaking out in a grin.
"I'm gonna be a grandpa!" cheered Antonio as he rushed over to help Eva.
They loaded her into he backseat Nick's car. Antonio hopped in the backseat with his daughter with Nicholas drove. People standing outside watched them drove off to Chicago Med. Carly turned around, being the first to break the silence.
"Today's been on crazy day! Between the vow renewal, Skylar's freakout, and Eva going into labor, it's insane!" joked Carly, unrealizing of what she just said.
"Skylar's what?" asked a worried Corin.
"Aw Crap."
