Chapter Nine

•Ellie's Point of View•

July 23rd 2013

"Sam! What a coincidence on meeting you here." I noted smiling slightly remembering my attire and about the perspiration showing on my skin giving it a slight glow, my breathing was erratic, I had been trapped in a lift of course I was going to be a bit panicky, not to mention I had just jogged around Seattle.

"Ellie? Is that you? You look so much different without brown hair!" Sam exclaimed and I couldn't help but forget what colour my hair was. Was it blonde, pink, or maybe it was purple, I had forgotten. Instantly I noticed I was captivated again by his big dark hair in a quiff style, and his blue eyes, how I loved blue eyes; they didn't work on me but I still loved them just as much.

"Uh-yeah it is me, you haven't changed at all Sam!" I replied a bit nervous, I haven't seen him for nearly fifteen years it was a bit strange seeing him here now.

"I haven't really, but you definitely have Miss Goulding, I think age has done you most certainly well." He smiled and I couldn't help but smile back.

"Thank you, Darling. Now wait, I was told you had left the Country, Continent in fact. Did you?" I asked wondering if his parents had in fact told me a lie to keep Sam away from me.

"No way, you're kidding me. I was told you had left the Country." He said mouth agape obviously knowing what that had meant.

"Did your parents tell you that?" I asked looking up to meet his eyes

"Yeah, I was left crushed, they knew I would do something stupid and go and travel all of the U.K. to find you so they took my passport away, kept me away from you." Sam looked down seemingly ashamed of telling me this.

"As soon as my mum found out what had happened here she personally came into the United States and shipped me all the way back to Hereford." I giggled a bit thinking back to my early adult days, how stupid could somebody be?

"So what happened to---" Sam was cut off by my three screaming mates but I knew exactly what he was going to ask, sometimes I really indeed liked Hannah, Lauren, and Lucy's timing.

"Guys, calm down, i'm fine." I told them trying to act not pleased when indeed I was.

"Hannah, I believe you've met Sam." I added smiling

"Sam? Mate, you haven't changed a bit!" She smiled shaking his hand respectively

"Sam, this is Hannah, who you've met previously, this is Lauren, she's one of my best mates, and then here's Lucy, and she's my make-up artist." I smiled but then forgetting Sam might not know I was considered a celebrity.

"Make-Up artist?" He asked puzzled

"No, I'm not one of those cocky done up people who just has a make-up artist because, I have a make-up artist because--" Hannah cut me off and I honestly hated when people cut me off

"She's Ellie Goulding of course she has a make-up stylist." A smirk present of hannah's face, she could've told Sam a bit differently but he knew who I was now.

"Why is Ellie such a big deal?" Sam asked and relief flourished through my body, he didn't know who I was.

"Look, um Sam, i'm staying here for a week or so, with my misfortune we'll probably meet up again, so sorry for leaving you like this love." I smiled weakly at him then tugged at my three mates' to get going, I had left Sam in the dust again, and I bet he thought he had done something wrong too.

Us four took the stairs up one floor since I really wasn't going to be trusting lifts for a while after that incident. As soon as we made it up the fifteenth floor I stood in front of the guilty party of three, eyeing them before talking.
