Chapter Seventeen

•Ellie's Point of View•

August 28th 2012

"C'mon Taylor, you have to get up. Our flight back to Seattle will leave without us." I rolled my eyes at the sleeping teenager who was currently groaning as she put a pillow overtop of her head.

"Don't make me get Sam." I warned and Taylor shot right up, scrambling out of the bed and to her feet.

Sam had unintentionally got the room next door, Jamie and Lucy had left back to the UK once again, they told me they probably wouldn't be back until I went on the Ellen show.

I heard a knock on the door, I sighed at Taylor who was practically asleep standing up. Our flight back to Seattle was at nine in the morning and it was currently five in the morning.

I walked to the door and saw Sam standing at the door, with a cheeky grin on his face. I quickly invited him in with basically no words, he brought his suitcase in, and that's when I realized he had arranged somehow to get on the same US airways flight as Taylor and I. Knowing the things he could pull off, he was probably sat beside us too.

"Tay isn't awake yet?" He asked and I nodded, smiling slightly, he knew she wasn't.

"She's basically asleep standing up in the room." I noted and Sam laughed slightly.

"You ready for the flight back?" He asked and I questionably stared at him, I never told him we were going back to Seattle today, he had these weird ways of knowing things I hadn't told him.

"I believe Taylor is, she just doesn't show much emotion at five in the morning." I shook my head laughing slightly.

"Just let her go to the airport in her pyjamas, it's not going to kill anybody." He noted and Sam did have a point, it was already cruel making her get out of bed at this time.

"That's a good idea. Speaking of which I should probably make sure in a couple of minutes that she didn't get back into the bed." I rolled my eyes, knowing the situation I had just explained, probably happened. Taylor was probably sound asleep in the bed again.

"Bless her. We should probably start heading to the airport soon, apparently JFK's customs are moving painfully slow lately." Sam stated and it was now my turn to groan, painfully slow moving customs are horrible.

"I'll get Taylor up, just a sec." I told Sam as I left the little living area to go wake Taylor up. If customs were moving along slowly we'd better be getting there soon.

As I had predicted, Taylor was laid back in the bed, curled up in a little ball. I sighed, I hated waking her, especially when she was so peacefully sleeping.

"Taylor, you have to get up. I don't care if you go on the plane in your pyjamas, I need you to wake up now. You can sleep again on the plane, I promise, just please wake up, darling." I went along with the nicest approach I could come by and hoped it worked. She groaned again and that's when I knew it hadn't worked and she wasn't going to wake up for me.

"Have it your way." I sighed walking out of the room. I saw Sam and he gave me a puzzled look as Taylor didn't come out with me.

"She's all yours." I whispered, curtsying as I waved my hands gracefully towards the opened door, if she wasn't going to wake up for me, she was going to regret not doing so.

Sam nodded going into the room as quietly as he could. A couple seconds later I heard a shrill scream erupt out of Taylor's mouth as Sam carried her out of the room on his shoulder.

"Now look how easy that wake-up could've been to avoid." I snickered at Taylor

"You've also probably woke up all of New York up with your scream there, Tay." Sam joked as he put her down.
