Chapter Twenty-Three

•Taylor's Point of View•

September 22nd 2013

"Taylor! We've got to head off to the Roundhouse!" Ellie yelled out from the kitchen, waking me partially up from my five hour slumber, "C'mon, love. I know it's Sunday and you don't want to get up but please make it easier for the both of us." Ellie basically pleaded.

"Five more minutes." Was all that could escape my mouth through a groan.

Ellie sighed heavily before I felt her presence near the bed I was laid on. I squinted my eyes, preparing myself for the worst.

I felt my bed sheets be tugged off my body and I groaned in response. I was in shorts and a tank top, so naturally I got cold within seconds.

"If you get up i'll get you one of your jumpers from the dryer." Ellie bargained and I groaned again before hastily getting up off the bed, and dragging myself to the kitchen and sitting myself down on a chair. I placed my head down on the table and groaned yet again.

"Rough night, kiddo?" Sam asked from wherever he was

"Yes." I replied

"Your sleep couldn't of been any worse than mine. Ellie kept me up basically all night, she kept saying how incredibly nervous for tonight she is." Sam told me and I let out a little laugh, "She'll kill it, I don't know why she worries about that so much." I quickly replied before getting my head and mop of hair off the table, knowing Ellie would kill me if she caught me like this.

Right when I was about to get up, I rotated my body but felt something fuzzy and warm hit my face. Unexpectedly, mind you.

"There's your jumper." That British accent that I had heard every single day since July 21st, told me.

Without much more word I threw it on, grabbing an apple before heading back to the room I was staying in and picking out a pair of jeans to wear.

I picked up my phone and noticed the time, finally. It was nearing eight in the morning and I knew this was going to be a long day.

Ellie had made Sam and I join her in her preparing last night till two, and we had been meeting up with her crew basically everyday for necessary preparations for the iTunes festival today.

I had basically been exiled whenever we met up with her crew, thankfully Louis, Joe's son, liked me. So I played games with him. I learned that Louis liked soccer so I brought my ball a couple days ago and we had played with that. Joe told me the next day that I had been a godsend. Louis had been so tuckered out he fell asleep pretty easily.

"If I start drinking again, it's because of Ellie. Jesus christ." I whispered to myself. Not daring to be loud enough for Ellie herself to hear. I don't usually, nor have I woke up at eight or earlier with a smile upon my face. I was annoyed with how Ellie had forced me to help her narrow down her damn outfit choices at two in the morning. Then she expected me to wake up merely six hours later.

I grabbed a little jacket so I wouldn't get cold, it was faintly drizzling and I knew it would only get worse later on. Autumn was nearing and it only gets worse in autumn apparently.

"The car is going to be here in five minutes!" Ellie yelled and I rolled my eyes. Walking out of my room I walked to the bathroom quickly and half-assed brushing my hair and quickly brushed my teeth. That was when I heard a bunch of laughing. Confused, I walked out to the living room to see Sam basically tickling Ellie to death. Ellie was laughing hysterically on the wooden floor.

"S-Sam the vehicle is g-going to be here in five minutes. S-Stop." Ellie pleaded. They both hadn't realized I was standing in the hall all ready to go. Watching their intimate moment. I dared to not disturb them. That was until I heard a honk of a car horn and Ellie and Sam tore away from each other immediately.
