Harry stumbled to the front door of his home with Jannes. He had been living in the same house as he did with Aurora and remembering the times he'd be coming home to her made him stop in his tracks and look at the house for a good five seconds before the door opened up to an angry Jannes with her hands to her hips.
"What the fuck Harry?! It's two am! I've been calling and calling you! I've called your friends, I've called your sister, I've called your mother, I've even called your father for crying out loud!" She said pushing against his chest.
Harry was drunk but he wasn't too drunk to the point that he didn't care that she had called his father. He hadn't spoke to his father in years, he didn't even have his number which baffled him as to why she had his number. He was only missing since the morning and I guess a call to let her know how things were going would have been nice but with all the commotion that happened Jannes didn't come to mind, not even close. He thought she was blowing this out of proportion and simply insane for even calling his sister let alone the old man.
"Wait" Harry said running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Did you just say you called my father?" Harry said with a cocked up eyebrow.
Jannes folded her arms over her chest. "Yes...I was worried" she replied. "And I had every right to because I mean look at you! What happened to your face?" Jannes came close running her finger along the small centimeter slit in his temple as Harry groaned in pain at her touch.
"Just leave it" Harry said heading up stairs. Jannes followed behind him up the steps not letting the conversation die, she needed answers.
"No Harry, I will not. What happened? Who did this-"
"I DID! I DID THIS TO MYSELF!" Harry snapped back. He caught himself before he could get violent. "Look just leave me alone right now okay?" Harry said heading back upstairs.
Harry sighed as he sat on the bed. He couldn't get Aurora's face out of his head and he was beginning to get used to this feeling. The need. The want. The infatuation. The frustration. He just wanted her, in every single possible way even if it was only a glimpse. He wanted to feel her tender lips kiss his mouth and neck and more other places. He wanted her to tell him she loves him as she stares in his eyes because when she did it was way more then just staring. He wanted to yell at her for being with Dr.Lance, he wanted to scream at her for giving up on them, he wanted to shout at her for being so goddamn gorgeous. He wanted to hate her for letting him not do anything as she left that day she did.
Harry took out the shattered phone from his pocket that Aurora had dropped at the coffee shop. He forgot he had it but as if now he was thankful for it. He turned it on and rolled his eyes. Aurora was smiling next to Dr.Lance on the screen.
"Typical" he mumbled as he continued to go through the phone.
He was trying to find what ever address she was living at now and looked through every app on the device. He looked through messages, social medias, google maps and then he looked at the photos and fuck how he wished he hadn't.
He was such an idiot for ever cheating on her that first time, for ever even fighting with her, for ever being ungrateful because what was one mans 'trash' is now another mans treasure and he hated that that's the way it ended.
He was done hurting her and he should have left it at that but he couldn't ignore the feeling of wanted her back.
He'd try this once more. If she shows that she doesn't want him anymore then he'd leave. He'd leave for good. He'd move to a different state or continent to get away from Aurora because it'd be useless being so close to her without her to call his.
