Chapter 25- Back in the Game

Two hours later the boys came back from getting food. Thankfully Luke and I were already done having our 'bonding' time and I got changed into my clothes. Everything was back to normal and the plus side is the boys came back with boxes of pizza. There was no evidence that we had done anything but I am pretty sure the boys are suspicious, by the looks they gave us, but that didn't matter because they didn't say anything and just sat down.

"You guys did it, didn't you?" Michael questions. Our eyes widen and I look over at Luke, there's nothing visible on him. "You're so clueless Nicky." He laughs as he points at my neck. I move my hair away and try to see but I couldn't so I go to the bathroom and go to the mirror. God damn it Luke. I screamed. All the boys did was laugh. I stomp back into the room and glare at Luke. "Nicky has a Hickey." As if that was the greatest thing ever said, Ash and Cal looked at Mike as if he was a freaking genius.

"THAT RHYMES." They shout. "Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey!" They chanted, putting their pizza slice down just so they could clap along with the chant. Luke stayed in his bed laughing his ass of at this. "Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey! Nicky Hickey!" All three of them continued to chant.

"Luke..." I whined. "Please make them stop." I covered my ears and go back to the bed to hide under the blanket. Luke wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead.

"Babe, they're just teasing you." Luke reasoned as he ruffled up my hair. "It's just a friendly tease. Don't worry." I huffed and look up at Luke.

"Yeah, if you didn't realize, they're making fun of the sex mark you left on my neck!" I cross my arms and look at the three boys. Who had their mouths open and their eyes too. "That's right, Luke and I did it. While he's in a hospital bed. Whoopee."

"We knew that but damn that must be the greatest thing ever. Waking up from a coma and then getting the sexy time. Damn Luke, ask her to marry you already!!" Calum exaggerates. Flinging his arm around to exaggerate even more. Momentarily, Luke and I look at each other and then at the boys. Who then share a look with each other and then back at us. After the quiet exchange of looks, Ashton speaks up.

"Wait, you're engaged?" He asks.

"Not exactly." I say. All of their eyebrows furrow up in confusion.

"What does that mean?"

"Well I'm not ready to get married because I'm still young but the ring looks like a promise ring and if you put it on the right hand it's a promise ring, not an engagement ring." I bring my hand up and show the boys. "I'm wearing it because I promise Luke that I'm going to marry him someday."

"Someone slap me because I must be dreaming." Michael says. Then Calum does exactly that. He slaps Michael across the face. For a second he falls down but when he gets up and sees Luke and I cuddled together he smiles. "Alright, I'm not dreaming. Party for NUKE!!" Michael gets up from his seat and high fives everyone. Ashton then takes out his phone and points it at him. Luke and I look at each other.

"Keek." We both say at the same time.

"HELLO GUYS. I know it's been a rough two months but we have amazing news." Ash points the camera at Luke and I. "Luke is finally awake and he is enjoying his return to the human world with his girlfriend Nicole." Both of us wave at the camera and Ashton points it back at himself. "It's nice to have the Hemmo back. More updates soon on our YouTube account but for now we are going to enjoy pizza. Love ya. Bye!" He turns it off then publishes it.

"So what happens with Luke now?"

"Stays in the hospital for I don't know how long but until the doctor says he's alright. Then he has to rest for two months before going back on stage. But in that mean time, looks like you're all trapped here in Tampa!" I concluded. All the boys didn't seem bothered by the fact that they have to stay here. Which I didn't mind because then I get to spend a long time with Luke, which means a lot to me.
