Chapter 20- Angel Wings

~Nicole’s POV~

“Where the hell do you think you’re going?!” Gabe demanded when I walked down the stairs and went to put on my shoes. “I asked you a question.” I finished tying my shoe and turned around to see him standing there with his arms crossed.

“I’m going out. Because this house is just too hard to live in.” Gabe nods and then leaves. Good, I’ve got him convinced. Quickly, I rush out and get into the cab that was waiting for me outside. I instruct him on where to go and then quickly rush out of the cab when we arrived. I seriously couldn’t wait to get everything together.

On arrival I was greeted by a group of people, my team for today. My plan was to get everything done today, edit it tomorrow and get it uploaded by tomorrow. What am I doing exactly? Making something for Gabe. And it’s not going to be a really nice one.

“Everything set?” I asked. My manager, for this time, nodded and I entered the studio. Payback Time Gabe.

~Luke’s POV~

“So you talked to her?” Michael asked. I nodded. “What did you guys say? Like, what did you say and what did she say.”

“She promised to stay strong for me while we try to save her. I told her to not give up on hockey no matter what happens. I told her my feelings and I asked her if she loves me and she said she does. Then I asked her to make a promise to me. She agreed to it.”

“What was it?”

“That once all this is over, she’d take me back. I just wish all this would end sooner because I miss her like hell Mikey.” Michael pats my back and gives me a smile. We were currently in the airport, waiting to board the plane. Ashton and Calum were off somewhere getting snacks and Michael volunteered to stay with me. What a nice friend.

“I’m glad she still wants you. Don’t worry. We’ll figure everything out in time. Get Nicole out of Colorado and then back to Tampa where she is the safest. He brother resides there and then there’s her team. If we manage to do this, everything will be alright and you’ll have your Nicole back in no time!” A little thought appeared in my head, thinking about her again, thinking about the song I wrote her and this one line:

While I was out I found myself alone just thinking if I showed up with a plane ticket and a shiny diamond ring with your name on it. Would you wanna run away too? Cause all I really want is you.

Shiny Diamond ring. Engagement ring possibly? I mean I wouldn’t mind marrying her. She is the only person I have ever thought of marrying. I’m not afraid to admit that I have imagined what life would be like if we were married. Settled down, kids. I’d taking them to footy practice and then take them out for a movie every Friday and Nicole would be an amazing cook and I would be able to have her amazing cooking every day and not to forget the fact that I’d be waking up next to her. In bed. Just the two of us.

I’d tell her she is beautiful, every day. When she tried to put on make-up, I’d tell her she doesn’t need it. I’ll dedicate every Tuesday to her and it’d be the night where the both of us get to hang out and play games. I’d beat her in FIFA and she’d beat me in Just Dance. Then on Sundays we would have barbeques with the boys, they can bring their wives too and their kids.

Mondays would be a chilled out day and it’d be the day where we could do whatever we want. Thursdays would be a night where it’d be Nicole gets to take the kids out somewhere and I would hang out with the guys. Wednesdays would be my day with the kids and she gets to hang out with her friends. If she decides to continue Hockey, even when we’re married, then I’d watch all of her games, cheer her on and then I’d take the kids too.
