“You are so lucky my bump isn’t big yet.” I told Luke as I took off my shirt and shorts to reveal the bikini I have under. Luke laughs as he takes his shirt off and puts on a pair of sunglasses, taking a seat and relaxing down on the chair. “It would be embarrassing to be huge ass pregnant and not be able to go out and enjoy the pool.”
“Well you did choose a great time to get married because then we wouldn’t be able to have a honeymoon if we had a child to take care of.” I sit down on my chair and take out my phone, grabbing Luke’s hand and asking him to join me on my chair. I quickly snap a picture, got to be on Instagram:

“This is going to be like that time we went shopping and you couldn’t stop posting Instagram pictures.” Luke chuckled, getting off my chair and going to his. “But hey, picture perfect memories right? Are you going in the pool now or later?”
“Later. I sort of want to soak in the sun.” Luke nods and relaxes in his seat. I take out a book from my bag but put it down immediately when I realize, I was randomly craving cucumbers and carrots. Being pregnant was weird in the way that, at the most random moments, I would crave for things I usually don’t crave for. Such as cucumbers and carrots. Never would I eat those just for fun when I’m hungry, no but being pregnant does that to me. Eat things I usually don’t eat randomly on a daily basis.
Groaning in annoyance I go over to the restaurant and order cucumbers and carrots. Then make my way back to the seat. It wasn’t until I got my food was I able to enjoy my book. It was a relaxing time, being by the pool, having the sun out but I eventually got a little bothered by the sun so I got off my chair, pushed it to the shade and lied back down again.
“Babe, would you like to take a dip in the pool? It’s nice.” I put my book down and see Luke standing at the end of my chair. I grab his hand and he leads me carefully into the pool. Both of us would’ve preferred it if we jumped in but that isn’t allowed here. For a while we just swam around, not really doing much. I didn’t want to get my hair wet because it was a pain to dry and tonight we’re going out for a beach dinner and having wet her wouldn’t be pleasant because then it’s going to get cold tonight and I don’t want to get sick on our honeymoon. That would suck.
“I still can’t believe we’re married. You’re officially my wife and I am officially your husband.” He grabs my hand and drags me to him. Even though we’re married and even though we’ve had a lot more contact than this, he still manages to make my heart skip a beat and leave butterflies in my stomach.
“Lucas Robert Hemmings.” I say.
“Nicole Angelina Hemmings.” He says back, copying my tone. I couldn’t help but smile.
“There are children around. Wouldn’t want to walk out of this pool with a hard Hemmings.” Luke smirks suggestively and I roll my eyes at him. “You’re such a weirdo I swear. You chose a pool day today. Not a hump day.” I poked his ribs to try and get him to get away but he only pulled me closer. Giving me the puppy dog eyes and damn those eyes still get to me.
“But, it’s Wednesday. Do you know what that means?”
“On Wednesdays we wear pink. Geez Lucas, where are your neon pink board shorts?” I playfully slapped Luke and managed to get away from him. Swimming to the other end of the pool. Leaving him at the other side looking annoyed. I laughed at his facial expression and just got out of the water and back to the seats. Luke comes over a while later and he packs up our things quickly. “Whoa, what’s the rush?” He grabs my hand and I am forced to run to be able to catch up with him. We get into the elevator and Luke closes the door without hesitation and no one else is with us.
