“I don’t understand why you’re taking me dress searching. We’re not getting married yet.” Vicky ignored me and we just entered the bridal dress shop. My mouth dropped down in amazement as I saw all the white dresses, of all kinds. How am I supposed to choose one? A lady, around in her 40’s, walked up to us with a big smile on her face.
“Hi what kind of dress are you looking for?” Before I could say anything Vicky hands the lady four pictures. She nodded in impression and immediately went to the back of the store. We both sat down and just waited. Soon the lady comes back with three other people, each of them was holding up a dress. One girl lead me to the changing room and helped me put on the dress. This one fitted me perfectly and it felt amazing. Tears were in my eyes and I now know why Vicky took me dress searching. They’re beautiful.
I walked out and smiled greatly as Vicky snapped a picture. “This one is really nice. I really like the-.” All of a sudden I pointed at one of the dresses. “That’s the one.” I said. Some feeling in me was telling me that that dress was the one. “Let me try that one on.” The lady nodded and went with me to the changing room where I got out of the other dress and put on this one, as I did, I could just break down in tears right there,
“This is the one.” She agrees. “It’s like it was made for you.” I nodded. We both walked out and Vicky stared up at me, mouth wide open and she tried to close it but the sight of me in this dress amazed her beyond amazing. She took another picture and then smiled at me.
“How did you know that was the one?” I shrugged my shoulders. “A feeling?” I nod. “I’m so calling the girls over.” Vicky stood up excitedly and went outside to make the phone call. She soon comes inside and we just chilled around. When she noticed the girls and boys, coming in she ushered me to go to the changing room, wanting to give me a dramatic entrance. “Where is she?” I heard Ashton ask.
“Come out Nicky!” I take a deep breath in and out before walking out. Everyone and I mean everyone, had the same expression as Vicky. “It’s stunning isn’t it?” Since no one could really talk, they all just nodded.
“Do you think Luke would like it?” I asked, directing the question at the boys.
“That’s what we’re here for! To see if Luke would like it. He’ll love it, I’m sure!” Michael exclaimed. “So, you buying it?”
“Of course you Dumbo. No telling Luke any details on the dress.” Each boy nodded and I went back to get changed. I stepped out and gave the girl the dress. All the girls had already left and the only people left over were the boys and Vicky. I sat down with them as the women went to pack the dress.
“Nicole, why don’t you and Luke have the wedding sooner? I mean, do you want your child to be running around at your wedding?” Ashton questioned.
“You’re right. Hold on, I’m going to call Luke.” I excused myself from them and took my phone out to call Luke. He picked up on the first ring. “Were you expecting me to call?”
“Not really but I’m a little annoyed that my bandmates get to see my fiancée in her dress before I do. Tell me about it? What does it look like? Details? Draw it out for me? Nicole please I’m begging you!”
“It’s white.” I stated. Knowing that it would frustrate Luke. I hear him groan in annoyance.
“No shit Sherlock! But please, I really don’t want to wait. Please just send me a picture. Please. I don’t think I will be able to wait six years to see you in your wedding dress. Please Nicole. Please?!” Luke begged, I could just imagine him falling on the bed and wanting to cry in frustration.
“That’s what I wanted to call about.”
“The dress?” He asked a little spark of hope in his voice.
